Texas Homeschool Scouter Campout
Homeschooling Scouters,
The 2008 Texas Christian Homeschool Campout is scheduled for October
24-26, 2008 at Lake Somerville State Park, Birch Creek Unit. Information
about the Park, including fees, can be found at

The theme of this year's Campout is “Here am I, send me.” from Isaiah 6:8.
Homeschool Packs, Troops, and Crews, as well as Homeschool American
Heritage Girl units are invited to participate. Individual Homeschool
Scout Families are also invited to participate.
Participants are responsible for making their own reservations, filing
required Tour Permits, having required Medical Forms on-site, and other
unit expenses. It is highly recommended to make reservations as early as
possible. Then, let us know if you are coming at nealstout@sbcglobal.net
and I will make sure you are kept informed as plans are finalized.
Tentative schedule includes a campfire (subject to fire bans that may
be in effect) on Saturday night, and Worship Service Sunday morning. Day
time events are still being planned. If you would like to help sponsor
an event, let us know that.
