Math - Saxon 7/6
I worked on lesson 88 today. There were not any conversion problems in today's lesson, so I didn't get a chance to practice them. I find that I still sometimes mix multiplying or dividing by 2 when dealing with square roots. I know that isn't the right way, but I keep forgetting. So today's lesson that emphasized roots was useful.
Earth Science Notebook:
I finished my Crystal Lab report, the Metal vs. Non-Metal page, and imported the last two group Kid Lattice pages.
History:
I worked on the Reconstruction Era concept map and notes today. Mom, Gregory, and I all reviewed the overall map, the notes, and generally discussed what was learned. I was able to catch up the OLS to where we are in history too.
Art:
I worked on sketches today. The assignement was to pick an object and sketch it from different views. I didn't have enough time to integrate the finished art into my art notebook yet. That will need to be finished off next Monday.
Computer:
I worked some on making the Medieval website. It is hard to make this mod site because I am not sure how I want to doe the layout, graphics, and buttons. I have already done all the text for the website, but until I get the grahpical design, I cannot add it in yet. I am a sci-fi oriented modder, not a Medieval one. That makes it ultra hard.
I installed Flash, imported the art notebook from the system I used temporarily to my new system, and I learned to use the new scanner and software when I scanned in my sketches.
Greg and I played a LAN game of Unreal against each other during lunch break.
General:
I accidentally dropped our wipe-off eraser on the floor. It left a aptter pattern it was so full. I offered to scrub it clean for my mom. It was a fun job.
Well, that is about it. It has been a pretty busy day. |
