A Home School Season...

How do you like it?

How do you like my new template?

I love it. Thanks goes to my very lovely and creative daughter who didn't wait for me to ask. She just made it and put it up so I could be surprised and say WOW!

I haven't been here in a while. It's still a busy place at our house. My oldest son has started playing flag football. Our family is participating in a production of  The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe with a local homeschool support group. Our baby is still not walking but he is thinking about it. I can tell.

Caleb will be preparing for his Grad K graduation soon. Sami is going to start learning to drive a manual transmission car. I remember when I first learned.. my that is one scary memory. I'm pleased to add that when we bought this "new" little car it all came back to me. So maybe I am really not that old after all.
The girls are getting ready for their dance recital.

Many new things going on and many things coming to an end for us.

So I thought I'd  post to let you all know  that we are all alive and well.. in case anyone was wondering.

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. Proverbs 13:4

Well, I checked with Emery and yes....the kitties and Joe have the same birthday!!! Isn't that cute!!!!
I hope all goes well with Sami learning to drive a stick shift...my first car was this cute little MGB convertible that was manual...many tears and frustration while I learning to drive that things....but as you know once you get...you've got it!!!
Do you actually know someone at Columbia Theological Seminary that homeschools???? That would be such an awesome contact if you did!!!!
It's soooooo great to be touch with you all again!
With Love,
Shay

Well, thankfully, I knew you were still breathing, but glad to hear a little update. Our house seems to have been super crazy the last month, too.
I noticed the new template right away. She did a great job.

I like the template. I wish I could fix my blog. I can't figure out why the categories messed everything up. Any suggestions?

I love your template! Your daughter is very talented --- tell her that "my" daughter (she's 9) recently started a blog here and listed samiam as one of her "friends" - she's enjoyed reading a "big girls" blog. :)
Sounds like you're staying so busy - what joy with the little one tho! And driving??? Your life is so multi-faceted! The best of every part!
It was good to hear your update - Take care, Lisa

About Me

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the sun. A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill and a time to heal ... a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance ... a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to lose and a time to seek; a time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silent and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
