Our School Room Gets a Make-Over!

Posted in Clean Heart Clean Home Challenge

As part of the   "Clean Heart, Clean Home Challenge",  I tackled our disastorous schoolroom.

Before:  We let things go over the winter months!

AFTER....

Each child has a work space

Three middle-school aged kids share two computer stations

My daughter prefers the corner secretary desk...probably because when I say, "Clean off your desk", she can just close up the lid!

The kids worked hard,  right along side me,  so I think they will also work hard to keep their work spaces  in better shape.  I can only pray their  hearts were cleansed along with mine as we unburied symptoms of neglect,  laziness,  disregard,  misplaced priorities, and  disobedience to our individual callings.

Wow... what an amazing change. You did a GOOD job. :)

By the way, my littles are 6, 4, 2, and 6 months. I can't quite give them the same division of labor you do... but they do help some. :)

That is amazing. What a great workspace for your children. My boys won't have the luxury of their own "classroom" until we convert our garage into a family room. Until then we will have to teach at the kitchen table and in the living room. Only 24 days of Public school left.

Wow. What an inspiring post. Thanks for letting us see all that you did. If you could only see my schoolroom right now. After seeing this, it encourages me to get to work!
God Bless,
Rebecca

You're an inspiration to me. I've always thought that other people had it so much more together than me and their houses and cars were immaculate. It's nice to know I'm not the only one out there that struggles with this. It's time to get to work, Please God help my home and my homeschool to honor you in all things.
