I moved from Upstate NY 12 years ago to Illinois.
It appears my vocabulary may have been affected!

I did the quiz and came out very high on Yankee.
How fun that you lived in North CHili and that you are a nurse too.
I never practiced nursing in Rochester, only did my clinicals there. I did apply at Highland Hospital but by the time they had a interview to give me I had moved on emotionally. I ended up in the big city of Phila. and stayed there for 20 years.
I spent 1.5 years working at the Univ. of PA hospital and then got into the VNA for 18 years. I worked only 1 day/week or 1 day/month after my kids were born. I enjoyed visiting nursing quite a bit.

I also delivered my first baby at Pennsylvania Hospital with the midwife group in the birthing suite. That was in 1998. I lived in Phila from 1983 until 2003 in two neighborhoods. I was in University City most of the time and then spent a few years also in Overbrook. how long were you there and where did you live?
