Easy Italian Beef

Italian Beef

 

5 - 7 lbs roast

2 cans French Onion Soup

1 jar Peppercini peppers with juice (pull stems)

1 tsp Italian Seasoning

1 jar sliced mushrooms with juice

1 Tbl. fennel seed

1 c. water

 

 

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and cook for 6 hours.  Or cover in roast pan with foil and cook for 4 - 5 hours at 350 degrees.  Let cool enough to shred meat.  Recover and cook for an additional hour.  Extra sauteed mushrooms, carmelized onions and horseradish are added treats as hoagie sandwich toppings!
