I've blogged about family camping before today.
We've had this cute camper for a few years, enjoying weekend trips with the kids and often other families. Today the new owners are coming to pick it up.
I like camping, but find it requires much planning, packing and unpacking time. So as a "Grandma" now, I think it's my perrogative to change my mind!
We towed our boat to Lake of the Ozarks instead of the camper this summer. After spending a week in this lakefront condo/cottage, I became a convert!
I had all the conveniences of home and especially enjoyed not walking to the public restrooms multiple times throughout the day! Are you interested in vacationing in Lake of the Ozarks? You can camp at the Lake of the Ozarks State Park or choose from a multitude of condo options.
With over 1500 miles of lake shore line, this resort area offers thousands of choices for any condo size and a plethora of amenities. If you bring your own boat, many condos have dock rental available or the marinas rent boats too.
I loved riding along the shoreline looking at all the beautiful homes.
Before we knew it, our week of family fun, boating and relaxing was over!
