Sure looks like Lake Tahoe in N. Calif or Nevada to me!
Of course, since it's only 2 hours away from me, it's pretty much the only lake I can think of! ;)

We're headed out the door today. My husband has been there before, but this is my first trip to Lake Tahoe.

YEAH!! I usually never even try to respond to your geography questions but this time it was too familiar to not reply! Hope you enjoy the trip! My 2nd son is heading there this weekend too - for a quick trip with his cousin! He's hoping for snow -but it's just too early yet!

The major company that contracts me just moved from the banks of Lake Tahoe to the banks of Donner Lake, the opposite end from the Donner Party Memorial. I've visited each season - gorgeous!
