1½ qts. meat broth (I use beef boullion) 6 medium onions (I use sweet onions) ¼ cup butter 1 tsp Worcestershire salt and pepper to taste shredded Mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese Slice onions thin and brown in butter. Add broth, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Simmer until onions are tender. Pour soup into oven-safe bowls. Arrange on top of soup blowls: slice of toast or roll split and toasted. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese then cover with shredded mozzarella. Place under the broiler until cheese is melted. Garnish with chopped chilves (optional).
