Thoughts On Training

I was going to start a different study tonight, but decided to just write about my thoughts and musings instead.     Today I had my second training for being a guide for trail rides.  My trainer says that I am doing awesome and that I am able to keep my cool when tricky situations happen.  For instance, right now there is alot of drill work and seismic activity going on here in Alberta, especially where the trails are located, and most of the workers are setting up portable outhouses and tents on the edge of the tree line next to the trails, which can cause the horses to spook.  Well my horse did spook, but I just gently spoke to her to let her know it was alright.      This made me think of how God trains us.  Using gentle and loving words to guide us. a firm, but kind hand to lead us, and yes, sometimes even strong admonitions to bring us back to His path.  Would I have it any other way?  NO!!!
