My first Harp lesson in a long time, Geometry and biology...
So I had my first harp lesson since April! I was really happy about that because I found out that I actually had improved! An hour a day really does make you improve:) I used to have harp lessons at my house but now we I'm taking them at the same place I take violin. Because of that I couldn't bring my own harp so I used my teachers instead which was fun. It was alot better even though it's a smaller harp It had a very celtic sound to it.
Theres not much to say about geometry and biology except that I haven't failed geometry yet and I'm going through the biology book twice as fast as your supposed to and I'm getting straight As! Yay! I don't really expect keep up the pace though.
Right now were going to viiolin lessons and then to the gir;s an dboys club where I teach violin lessons to the kids there. I haven't seen them since spring so we'll see whats up around there! If anything intresting arrives I'll be sure to post again. Its about time somthing crazy happens you know its getting to be fall were awaking from our hibernation for the summer! I finished Screwtape letters! if you haven't read it you should, its really good! (If you don't play a musical instrument you should learn one too:)

Thanks for the comment. I don't mind that you acstidently wrote it as beginingwriters, I was wondering who you were, I knew you definately wasn't Storyteller or PoeticMaiden or QueenFlora or MaidenCapitolaBallot because none of them have a story blog called Callen, then I saw the second comment and realized that it was you.
Well, no, sadly we never got to go through and the mystery remains unsolved to this day. We moved house to a large ( not as big as the Welsh one, but nicer-looking and with a bigger garden and in the peaceful English countryside rather than a busy, built-up, large town-like village ) house in England, where, much to our delight, there is a spare room with a large old wardrobe in it. We haven't found Narnia there though ofcourse, but once when we were playing hide-and-seek I fell asleep in the wardrobe and had a very strange dream about getting into a very Narnia-like place...
There is a secret passage in THIS house aswell amazingly enough!!!

Sep. 24, 2008 - Greetings...

Life would be horrible without trees, they are so inspring for writing, adn fun to climb, have picnics under, read under, all sorts of things!!
Oh I have slept in a hammoc! It was fun but it was set up wrong so the whole night I had to hold on our I would fall out...dagerious as I am a wiggly person btu I managed and passed the night without resiving broken bones.
I would love to live in a tree, I could look out every morning and see the sun light flitering through the leaves, casting dancing shadows all about. At I could always hear the wind whispering through the branches, telling its stories, secrets, or jokes, and the branches and leaves would trimble with delight or supressed giggles. And when the wind howled I would be right up there, listening to the branches whipping about and trying to comfort it. And in the winter when all the leaves are gone the winrty sun would shine down upon me and the codl wind would knock outside my little home and I could smile at it and tell it I could not invite it in as I looked out upon the snowy land scape that I could see beyond the bear branches. *Sigh*, I can just picture it...
Mexico? Though I have always thought it the last place on earth I would like to live, your discribtion of it has changed my mind...it sounds lovely there, at least by that mountain! If you move there I shall come and visit! And then I will go off up the mountain and have an archaeology expedition!
Oh I have a TON of dream plains that will never happen, but they are fun to have. They can brighten our whole day! One is to move to Scotland, into one of those old castle by one of the Lochs. I would romp the mountains all day, no matter the weather, and I would swim the loch, not in the winter though.
Another is to travel the world as an archaeologist, I love archaeology now that I am learning about it for my books. Either that or I would be an explorer and would have grand adventures, and a bad guy who would follow me about.
I have a ton more as well :D
What are some of your other ones?
*sigh* no, we have no trees at our house, it is so sad. But when we go up in the mountains I am usually always able to find one I can climb. My brothers think I am strange because I still climb trees and I am 21, but there is so much to be seen up there! They are just too grown up to enjoy it, I feel sorry for them :D My mom cringes because I have been known to climb trees when I am in something white, but I have always managed to keep my dresses clean :D
Elms?! Oh I love elms!! They are wonderful trees!!
We have about a, ah I am not sure, not a terribly big yard but a big one...I would live more land though, then I could get a goat! Though then my mom would disown me. Well, the yard is big enough for me to fence in without being spotted by neighbors if I am careful, but not big enough for a goat...so that might help :D
How did Alex's college interview go?
No, I am not writing FAD...the thing behind that. When they split and split FAD they kept their two kingdoms in the same world. Well as we got to know each other better they decided, and I happily agreed, to add Hemlock, my kingdom, into their world. And so the three kingdoms are mentioned in the three books as are some of the characters, so that is what it is, it is rather confusing :D. Are you reading their books? Poor Molly had to restart the first part again.
Oh, and I awarded you :D
Well, I will go for now!
Bye

If you are on about the Adventure Story blog about that time when we lived in the house in Wales and about the spider that turned out to be a trick one and the haunted house and the hide and seek in the cellars called The Adventure Story then it is completely true. That did happen. So the story is true, but my other story blog called The Kingdom of The Averonitaca Islands, well, the stories on THAT one isn't true, they are the ones that I write, it is on my other username Westilisette. I don't think I've added you to freinds on Westilisette yet, all you have to do is to go to the link on my sidebar that says TKoW and it will take you to the terms and conditions page, you can agree to the terms and conditions by commenting "yes, I agree" on the terms and conditions entry, then I will add you to freinds and you will be able to veiw all of the entries.
Yes, we do have big trees where we live, they are very climbable, there is a cherrytree at the bottom of the garden and it is very easy to climb. We also live next to a tree that is 800 years old and is so big that there is this little natural room in it with a windo and a door, all five of us older Carr children and a fifteen-year-old American girl who was staying with us fitted in all in one go into the little room inside of the tree trunk. Amazing. We had never seen such a big tree before, it is very tall aswell. I suppose you must have trees like that where you live aswell?
And yes I do like long comments, I think they are interesting.
But I've forgotten the other things you asked,
better go now,
bye for now

Oops, I forgot to say, I didn't take that picture of the Cornish cottage, my little 8 year old sister Chatty did. She is a very good photographer for her age. She took it while we were on holiday in Cornwall.

Sep. 25, 2008 - Another Mistake!!!!
Posted by chezdak
Oh dear! Another mistake, I thought you was saying is it a true story? I thought that was rather strange because I did say on The Adventure Story blog that they were all true stories, now I discover that you said is it two story, obviously meaning the house! Oh, well. Well, if it is the English house that you mean then all it has is a ground floor and a first floor and an attic ( that we have never been in ) I think that's two or three storeys if you count the attic three if you don't then two.
bye for now,
sorry to be bothering you with all these comments, I keep making mistakes = D

Thanks for your comments!
It was hollow inside the trunk of the tree.
Tree houses are fun aswell, but that was a natural tree house and it wasn't built in the branches, but in the actual trunk. It had a natural window and door. The tree was huge. I shouldn't be suprised if it was a lot taller than our house
Bye for now,

Oct. 2, 2008 - A long over due comment

I find my lack of response shameful. You probably thought I fell off the face of the earth, would you believe I have spent the last few weeks locked in my room with one of my characters holding a sword at my back and threatening me if I did anything other then finish the book I was writing that was nearing completion? That said, you may be surprised to hear Hemlock, now known as Dispair and Hope, is completed. I think you started it, I thought one of the girls, Katie or Beth siad you had asked if you should read it and they would send it to you. I cannot remember, I have been gone so long I feel a stranger to this earth.
Anyways, to answer your comment.
Ah yes, I am always changing my template, I find I must change things around to keep them interesting :D
I think there is some certain way to climb trees in fancy dresses, though I have done it without coming to harm I fear I do not know how to explain it. Hmm, perhaps that is it, my, well something, still thinks it is 21 so is more careful. However, my true 15 is taking over, so I probably won't be able to pull it off much longer.
When we meet we shall have to climb trees together :D
*sigh* so on top of being Scottish you have archaeologist parents! How exciting!
In my thrid book I am writing one of the families does under water archaeology!!
Norway would be fun, I love their old sytle of clothing, I heard their food isn't that bad either. Iceland won't be bad either, lovely countryside. Ireland would be fun too.
Hmm, well you could hide away in Alex's suitcase, I am sure he would not mind to find you had joined him in Michigan. Then I could remind everyone how they think I am 21 and say you will need someone older to look after you as he will be in school all day so then I could come down and we would play in the snow all day! And sled, have you ever skied? I like it though my best friend Michael infroms me it is not as fun as snow boarding. Well, the moment I a settled in Scotland I shall send you a plane ticket so you can come visit.
Well, nonetheless, at least you have been to Scotland and have pcitures, even if you cannot remember it, which is more then I can say!
Ah, there it is, I thought you had asked. Yes, you can read Hemlock, if Beth has not sent it yet let me know and I shall do so.
Well, I would suggest a Scottish gown, but I may not be much help being as I am partual to Scottish clothing and I do not fancy the Jane Austin styles as I do not like the high wiast line and the straight skirts, therefore I am probably not much help. But let me know which you choose!
Oh it is lovely here, cool in the mornings, warming up by noon but with a cool breezes, I do love fall. It is so crisp!!
However, I must be off now, I am so behind on everything, characters can be rather cruel when they think one ought to be writing.
Until next time my dead friend!
