What a week!!

The past week has been crazy! Starting last Tuesday there has been something going on with someone in our house. Last Tuesday I was going to swat the dog for peeing on TJ’s toy and I hit the chair and broke my middle finger on my right hand. That made doing anything hard, like making Thanksgiving dinner.  Good thing my mom was here to help me.

After Thanksgiving dinner TJ got sick all over the place, it was not from the meal because he hardly ate anything, it is so sad seeing a 14 month old baby get sick. He had a tummy flu or something, he was a little sick still on Friday but. Was really grumpy, and started pulling his ears on Saturday.

We took him to the doctor to find out he has a double ear infection and a rash form of strep. Poor baby we got him his medicine and went home to find out Ian was sick with the tummy flu! Ian was so sick all night I have never seen anyone get sick as often as he did in my life.

As I was getting Ian and TJ ready for bed I went to the bathroom and found out I was spotting, ok things are all going crazy now. I called L&D and was told to come in and get checked out. With having a baby born at 23 week due to bleeding, this was a hard thing to deal with. I spent a lot of time just sitting there praying. Went to the L&D to find out that the OB on call was the same OB that was on call when Elijah was born at 23 weeks. I just prayed more, after all it is all in Gods hands.

I was monitored and Jacob was doing awesome, the nurse and the doctor said he was very reactive more reactive then most babies at his gestational age. My cervix is long closed and firm. Jacobs head is down but when the doctor examines me he moves away. So all is good with him. I have been told to rest as much as I can and just take it easy.

Sunday morning we woke up to everyone being sick, we all had the tummy flu Sunday was a crazy day here for sure. I am still spotting a little but it seems to be getting better
