I wondered how I could have a post up for two whole days, and not garner a single comment, not even from you! (tee-hee) It was a very dead weekend.

I started on Flylady recently. I had been doing Dandelion Seeds Clean Heart Clean Home challenge, but that went out the window the week before I started school. I needed something that was a little bit at a time--not an all-day project--although I really appreciate what Amy has done! I still use some of her stuff, and will probably start the Challenge again when I have more time.

I like Flylady's routines. I haven't tried the 27 fling boogie. Most of the stuff I could "boogie" is in boxes in the garage, and the rest of the house I am doing a bit at a time. I went through all my clothes in the spring. I had inherited a new (to me) wardrobe from a good friend who had passed away, and her clothes fit better, or were in better condition than a lot of mine. I do get a bit overwhelmed by all the emails at times--skim and delete.

I also subscribed to Saving Dinner. Their recipes are good, and usually not difficult to make. I really like the ingredients list--so I can plan my shopping. The family has liked almost everything I've made.

Probably more than you wanted to know. Guess I'm glad to have someone to "talk to".

especially if it were mint. Hope you found something non-sugary. I eat the occasional chocolate bar, and we have ice-cream when it is hot, but not every day. Other than that, we are not big on desserts. DH eats chocolate all the time--keeps him happy. The kids have a small piece of chocolate or candy a day, but that is it. Actually, given a choice, DD would prefer a slice of summer sausage to a sweet. DS has a sweet tooth.

I like a good meal, and that is where I tend to eat too much. I am trying to cut back a little.

I'll be your Flylady buddy, but I doubt I'd be much good at holding you accountable. (Grin) It will be fun to do it together.

Hey, this is funny. Just before reading your blog, I was at the Flylady website myself. My first time! I have heard so many good things about it and I need some serious inspiration this week. We will start school on Mon. the 28th. I am trying to ignore the fact that I have a farmers quantity of grapes and apples that I will need to address soon. I guess I just need to schedule it in, right?! I will invite Bonnie to help me since she is in a canning groove this year.
