Back Yard Academy

• Nov. 19, 2006 - I love this town.

Our little town is so cute.  I love it here.  Building by building it is changing and it makes me sad.  The picture of the kids standing beside the light up carolers is where my old Junior High stood.  It was a civil war era building and was beautiful in my opinion.

Here is a picture of when the school still stood.

Here is a collection of the lights on Main Street.  It always gets me in the Christmas mood when the Barboursville lights go up!

And just for fun, here is the same street at the time of the Battle of Barboursville during the Civil war.

What Type of Homeschooler Are You?

Salvador Dali Melting clocks are not a problem in your reality. You are an unschooler. You will tolerate a textbook, but only as a last resort. Mud is your friend. You prefer hands-on everything. If your school had an anthem, it would be Dont Worry, Be Happy. Visit my blog: http://www.GuiltFreeHomeschooling.blogspot.com
