It's garden time!
Yes, I know that it is just a few days away from being November. But, in Texas, it's time to plant our fall garden. The children and I got the planting done today. We had so much fun! As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will show you their diligence.
As dd TS3 and ds TS4 took turns planting and watering the seeds we talked about how the Bible tell us that some plant, others water, but God makes them grow! They thought that was so much fun. Our garden has already been prayed for repeatedly. It is so encouraging to see the children's faithfulness in remembering to pray for the little things. And, we see God move in our lives because of their prayers. We are blessed!
We are trying square foot gardening. We only planted one box today and we will plant another box in late December with bulbs for spring. Today we planted garlic, turnips, spinach, beets, and parsley. We will get the radishes planted in a few days.
We are having so much fun on our little acre. It is so great to live where we can have a little bit of space to run and play and see the Lord at work in His marvelous creation! Today TS3 watched a spider build its web on the outside of our window. She was so excited! I have to admit, her enthusiasm was contagious. I started watching with her and I really don’t care for spiders at all! But, this one was outside so I was okay with it. We talked about how only God can create such a wonderful creature that can create such beautiful and useful things. Once again, the Lord provided an opportunity for us to talk about Him and how He works in our lives. I am really going to start praying that the Lord will open my eyes to see opportunities to talk about Him constantly to the children. I don’t want to pass along the message that Jesus is a “religion”. I want my children to know that He is alive and a real part of everyday living. What a humbling thing it is to raise these precious children for Jesus.

Team S update
I just wanted to give a brief update on how old the children are as a reference point for future posts.
DD, TS3 will be 8 years old in just a few weeks.
DS, TS4 is 5 1/2 years old.
DS, TS5 is 17 months old now.
D?, TS6 is due at the end of April.
DH, TS1 is... never mind how old he is! I can't be telling you that kind of information! Mrs. Team S, TS2, that's me. And I'm not telling you how old I am either!

Welcome to Team S Happenings!
Hello! Welcome to our blog. Our goal in starting this blog was to have a place to share with friends and family what is going on in our lives. I don't forsee this being an overly active blog as we are very busy training our children to live lives pleasing to Jesus. For me, that means limiting my computer time!
I hope that we can be an encouragement to you as we continue on this path of following Jesus.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a blessed day!
