Mar. 20, 2009 - Becoming a Leader MUST Start at Home
Before we start, I just wanted to say that, "TeenShip" means, "TEENager LeaderSHIP."
Remember this, everyone likes a compliment. Today, at home, make at least one compliment to your father, mother and that annoying sibling. Becoming a leader MUST start at home. If the opportunity arrives make a compliment to someone in public; you know, places like: Wal-mart, Church, the movies, the mall…
You don’t want to be a person that says compliments like this; “Oh, I just love the pink bodacious shirt.” No, it needs to be more like this. “Holly, your hair looks beautiful this morning.” (Holly is my 10 year old sister.) And don’t just make any compliments just to say you can, but really mean them. If you have a hard time complimenting people then the only thing I can say is pray to God to give you the desire. Complementing your siblings alone will give you that extra feeling in being a leader in your own home.
So come on, give it a go, make at least one, right now.
And remember to say “My Pleasure” everywhere.
Quote of the Day
“Character matters; leadership descends from character.”- Rush Limbaugh

Hmm, they made a movie out of it?? Never heard of it!! Thats been my favorite number for my whole life, and now its starting to get popular. How annoying.
Sorry, I'm not in the best mood right now. Because of that picture. Ugh. But thanks anyways :)

Hey! This looks like a very worthy blog, but the stuff on the sidebar makes it all scrunched up on my computer, so I can't see the entire entry. >:-?
Anyways, good job whatever it said!
May God bless you, and may His light pierce your darkness!

Hi, thanks for the comment! Um... what kind of stories, you ask? I'm not exactly sure how to answer. I like writing stories that are exciting and fun, but at the same time glorify the Lord. And I don't really like doing research all that much, so I mostly write stuff set in modern-times, or an era I feel comfortable with. Mostly just adventure stories, I guess. Although right now I do have fanfiction for the Kingdom Series in the works (ever heard of that series? One of my favorites!).
I like your blog -- I'll be back!
