Mar. 22, 2009 - My Bodacious Weekend

Well, I didn't plan to have a lesson today because I just wanted to show you what I have been doing this weekend.  First, my youth group and I went bowling this past Friday.  There was about 12 teens there and we all had a blast.  The youth pastor said that whoever wins gets to pie the loser or him.  After our two hours of bowling real hard, I ended up with the highest score.  Unfortunately my sister had the lowest, and I knew that she would never forgive me and everyone wanted the youth pastor to get pied.  So, I did what was best and pied my fellow hero.

The next day after church visitation with my Dad, my family and I went to go Birthday shopping.  My birthday is this week and my dad will not be home.  So we are just celebrating it now.  The past two months I have just woren my black sport jacket and have been wanting a pin striped suit, and that's what my dad and mom bought me.  My family also gave me a red shirt and that cool tie you see in the picture.  Today at church I had a lot of people comment on it, and my boss is jealous.  He said that he's going to go buy one just like it.

These are the books that I am currently reading.

Well that's all for now.  If this is your first time here please take a look over my past entries.  Thanks.

Hey Gabriel! Thanks for commenting on my blog. I really like yours. How did you find me? Your youth group bowling sounds like fun!
I like the whole how a teen can be a Godly leader theme of your blog. This summer I am currently going on one, maybe two mission trips with my youth group.

No, I don't do any drama. I used to though, when I made the blog. Why do you ask? I DO play two musical instruments though, and I LOVE doing it! I absoultely LOVE LOVE LOVE music!!!

Oh yeah, something made me think of this reading the other comment on this post. I wouldn't be that afraid to pie my youth pastor, he's the best one ever! lol And there's a picture on my friend's facebook, and he wrote on her face "I WIN!" and on his "I LOSE!" and he actually signed her forehead in SHARPIE!! Haha, he's not afraid to do anything you ask him! and Also, when we do the 30 hour famine, depending on how much money we raise, we get to totally destroy his hair, however we would like, and after a week he can get a buzz cut to "fix" it.

No, I don't mind. But I won't be allowed to accept it, I'm not allowed to be friends with people I don't know in person... internet safety. But you can still comment and read my blog and stuff, and I'll do the same for you.

To your question, yes I liked the rest of the entry. As far as Y.H.Y is concerned it is a, teen founded, teen based organization. We raise money and send it to three organizations, AKCLI Villages of Hope in Zambia, Africa, Bethany Christian Services, and The Pregnanacy Clinic. We are hoping to go national with Help Groups (teens involved with Y.H.Y) all over the country!

Next time I take a picture with you, let me stand on the next step up so i don't look so short. i was thinking this week, i think i might be the shortest guy in the youth group, haha. Well Gabe, this is a great way to encourage others, keep it up (really...keep it up). The Lord is honored by the things written on your page.
P.S. If you could, email a few of the pictures you have from our bowling activity. Thanks!

...& it looks like you had fun doing it too!! How do you add pics into the blog, by the way? Or VIDS?!!?
Happy Birthday (&I'm Not late because my clock is 2hours behind yours) ~ I hope you enjoyed it to the fullest with your family & friends! And nice suit; I like the one on your profile the best. =] Looks like some good reads- Do you have your own camera or is it the family's? Have you ever heard of Shelfari.com? It's where you find& share all the books you've read, what books you're reading NOW & have discussions of them with others if you like; if you have time, that is. You work? Where? Sounds Awesome all around~! May God continue to Bless you INDEED*-Now & forevermore; Growing into the Man He wants you to be & always drawing near to the Throne.
