So I just went through the three hour process of re-coding the Template Artists website! Now we have all of the templates on one page, and there's about five new ones up there! So please go check it out and see our complete list of templates: Template Artists on Webs! Thanks for reading, -Nikki 2 Comments | Post a Comment! More Templates!Posted on Sep. 12, 2009 by Nik Hello everyone, it's Nik again! :D I wanted to let y'all know that I have three more templates up! I'm excited. xP Firstly, we have a template by Allison, which I've named Faith because there was no title (Allison, if you have a previous name I can rename it :). There is also another wonderfully simple template by Maddy, which is green and yellow with a black background. I also have an old template of mine up, called Purple Space (yes, another space one. But space is COOL, so don't blame me! ;). So see if you like any of the new templates! :D They're all wonderful; great job artists! Thanks for reading, and if you wouldn't mind telling people who would like a new template about our blog that would be wonderful! Goodbye, Nikki 1 Comments | Post a Comment! Another New MemberPosted on Sep. 12, 2009 by Allison Hi everybody! My name is Allison, and I just joined. : ] I love, love, LOVE making templates, and like Maddy, I am also very girly and love Jane Austen, and historical stuff. I also love the "cute" look. When I first joined HSB, I knew NOTHING about blogs or HTML! Since then I have worked hard, changing my blog's look time and time again, experimenting, and, well, failing. But I got better, and now I'm here to help you! So ya. I think that's basically it. I can't wait to get started! till next time, Allison♥ http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/wonderland21 0 Comments | Post a Comment! Newww Member!Posted on Sep. 1, 2009 by Maddy Hey there! My name is Maddy and I'm the latest addition to the HSBartists. Thank you so much, Karlee, for inviting me to join. I've been making templates for my own blog pretty much since I joined last year, and I'm really excited to have the opportunity to make them for other people now, too! I have fairly girly tastes when it comes to web design, so you'll probably be seeing quite a few Jane Austen and L.M. Montgomery templates popping up over the next week or two. And that's about it. You can check out my blog to find out more about me, and I'll see you around. xoxoxoxoxmaddy 1 Comments | Post a Comment! Reorganization DetailsPosted on Aug. 29, 2009 by Nik Hello, this is Nikki! Karlee posted a little bit about us reorganizing things some more, and I would just like to be more specific! As Karlee said, we've been going through and deleting some old posts on here. We've done this because either the people who wrote them are no longer in the group, or the posts are filled with information that's no longer accurate, or because the posts have templates that we no longer have the codes for. Karlee also moved all of the posts we have that are really us talking to each other. They are now on a blog that only people we're friends with (everyone who's IN the group) can see, because we don't want people looking for templates to be overwhelmed by all of our posts that have NOTHING to do with them or getting templates. I know this may be confusing knowing where to post your messages; here's a more specific guideline. For This Blog: On this blog we will be posting new member updates, new templates on our sidebar, and finished custom templates. For Our Group Talk Blog: On this blog we will posting new members as well, along with changes to the group, custom template requests (like we'll ask who wants to do it here, and then post the finished result on the other blog). I know this is all a little confusing, so let's just put it this way: if what you're posting you are only saying to the group, post it on the Group Talk blog, and if what you're saying helps people who want new templates (who probably could care less about us talking to each other) post it on here. If you have any questions please comment on here or send me a message. ALSO: Please note that after about a week or two (enough time to know everyone's read this) we'll be moving this and Karlee's post over to the Group Talk blog. Thanks for your time! -Nikki 2 Comments | Post a Comment! Ello!Posted on Aug. 12, 2009 by Melian Hi! I'm Arwen and this is my first time posting here!! Well, I have been designing templates for HBS and blogger for about six months now and am enjoying to hugely. Here is a template I did last week. Random Ramblings The header I made on Gimp and the background is from tartanmaker.com. The colors are light blue, brown, and tanish. ![]() PS: my siggys are made on Gimp as well.2 Comments | Post a Comment! Green Space :)Posted on Apr. 24, 2009 by Nik Hello everyone! It's Nik here. I finally got around to making a premade template for here! It's my first one, and it's called Green Space: Psalm 19:1-4. But anyway, here is the picture! ![]() So there it is! Just send me a message (here) and I'll send the code over to ya. ;) Oh, and please put the name of the template so I know what your talking about somewhere in the message. Thanks!
Over and out! - Nik 0 Comments | Post a Comment! For Wes :)Posted on Apr. 7, 2009 by Nik Hey there everyone! It's Nik. Anyway, I've been working on the request for Wesley, and I have it done. I'm not completely sure who/where to send the code to so the code can get to him though (I don't know anything about this yet, lol), so somebody please PM me with that information! But anyway, here's a screenie that I took on my testing blog: ![]() So, I think that's pretty good. I'm sorry that there's arrows in the bullseye though; I know his blog's about guns, but it was extremely hard to find pictures of bullseye targets like that to put on the header! Anyway, please tell me what you think, and where to send the code so he can get the new template up A.S.A.P. :) Thanks, Nik 4 Comments | Post a Comment! We have another request.Posted on Apr. 6, 2009 by Karlee *be sure to see the post below before reading this one* Hi! We have another template request. Here's the exact words, "Hi! My blog's at www.homeschoolblogger.com/airsoft and I can put weird stuff like pets on there, but I can't make my own custom templates. Since the blog's about airsoft guns, pellet guns, etc, I want something like a flat, green field with a bullseye target at the end. Doesn't have to be anything complicated. Thanks, -Wes" I've asked Nik to do this first and if she doesn't want to i'll update this. For right now it's taken by Nik because i think she'd like to do this. If not i'll update. Thanks all! ~Karlee- assistant manager of HSBartists. 1 Comments | Post a Comment! A New Member!Posted on Apr. 4, 2009 by Nik Hello, everyone! I'm Nik (or Comatose), and I just joined this group. :D So thank you Hailey for letting me! ;D I also made the template you are now looking at, so that's just a little bit of a sneak peak on my template style. ;) First of all, I'd like to say that I really love a challenge when it comes to HTML, so if you guys have anything hard you want me to do, or if you need any help with your templates I would be perfectly happy to help. I don't like randomly making templates though; I do better when I have a good purpose to make them. So, maybe I could work on custom templates??? I dunno. But anyway, I'm gonna have losta fun on here, and I can't wait to get started on templates! Goodbye! -Nik P.S., If you scroll all the way down to the bottom, there's a little footer with the rest of the information of the group. Also, do you think we could make the entries per page a smaller number? Because that way everyone would be able to see the members list more easily, since there'd be less space to scroll down. :D Anyway, thanks again for letting me join! 6 Comments | Post a Comment! 1 Comments | Post a Comment! Guidelines And Making And Taking TemplatesPosted on Nov. 16, 2008 by Nik As A Member...- Please stay active! Please remember to make templates on a (somewhat) regular basis, and please keep up posting updates on your templates (like when one of your templates is added to the blog) or any updates on any sites or template blogs you have. - Please don't mess with too many things. If you could leave the avatar, profile info, template, and categories/entries alone that would be great! - You MAY, however, add your name to the account, including entry categories, profile name, and members list (on the template). Also, please remember to request us to be friends with you. We like our members to be friends with the account. -If possible, be prepared for customs! This isn't a requirement, but it would be great if you are familiar with customs in case we need to do you one! If not, that's fine, it's just a nice bonus for us. :) - If you resign, your posts/category WILL be deleted! We like to keep things on the blog un-cluttered. However, if you'd like we'll keep your templates on our blog/site, we'll just make it clear that you are no longer apart of the group. :) Making Templates- Give credit where credit is due. Please let us know where you got your image/background, UNLESS the site you got it from says you don't have to. If you've changed the image at all, please still add the link, just say that either you edited it, or it's originally from that site. - If you didn't make the template from scratch, don't take full credit for it. This is a huge pet peeve of mine; if you don't mind, please just say you edited the HSB template unless you really did code it from scratch. - Quality over quantity. We would MUCH rather you focus on making one or two amazing templates then a hundred okay ones. Try and make each template your very best it can be, and people will visit and use our templates more often! - Nothing inappropriate, rude, or ungodly. We won't make anything that falls under this category as premades, and will not accept an offer to make one as a custom. Getting Your Template!- Please don't remove the template credits UNLESS you change the template and are adding your name. - Let us know when you take one! We're curious to know how well we're doing with people taking our templates, so please either send us or the template creator a message, or write a quick comment when you take a template. 0 Comments | Post a Comment! |
