Lately, there are flood and tornados watches. Today, my mom sent me to the post office, it was trickling, and then, I saw lightning in the distance. I hurried to the door of the post office, and went in. When I came out, the lightning was 1 mile away. Oh yes, guess what, I GOT MY PIC. TAKEN BY A PROFESSIONAL  PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE BELOIT NEWS!!!!!!!!!, Soppin' wet, I heard the mans radio say, Boy with Wagon. (I had a wagon) I turned and he had his camera pointed at me!! LOL!

  Any way, I was on the bridge, and A HUGE bolt of lightning Buzzed through the air, less than 50 FT away!!!!  An officer stopped, and then KERRRRRRBOOOOOOOOOOM a HUGE thunder came!!! I stopped, to frightened to move. the officer asked if I needed a ride. But, HOW am I gonna go in a squad car, WITH A HUGE wagon???? I said no. He said "sure?" sorta surprised like. I nodded, He said, okay, and shrugged and drove away. Then, A wall of rain came from behind, and I got soaked. it went in my mouth, and down my throat. I could hardly breath. Suddenly, I heard a shout. kate and rose were coming home from the store. I tried to run up the sidewalk through the water. I could not. the force of water and wind was too strong. I was in the midst of a GIGANTIC storm, and was as wet as a moth, coming out of a pond. A bolt of lightning hissed through the air and struck in the mid. of the road, 10 feet from us and 20 feet away from an oncoming car. We finaly made it home, sopping wet. WHEW! I was shivering from the wet and my fear. I was SURE we were not going to return home, as I heard the lightning hiss and saw the light, and felt the tremoundous heat. "We made it!" I said as we opened the door.

1933:

    In 1933 Adolf Hitler rose up as dictator in Germany, He told the Germans that they were of a holy race, and the Jews, Gypsys, handicapped, and the blonde, and the blue eyed, the dark-skinned, and the communists, were evil. He said that Germany was to own other countries. So, 10 million German soldiers rushed to the border of Poland.  1/2 Million Soldiers stayed in Germany. Poland, being tired after WW1, gave up without a fight, as did some others. Hitler signed a peace treaty with Russia. But later, Hitler addressed the German soldiers at Potsdam: “We cannot trust the Russians or the communists,” he said, we must fight them with all of our might. We can do it! WE WILL DO IT! As the stars are over us in countless numbers, so are the supreme spirits over our beloved country!”

      The Germans sent 2 U boats to USA, one to New York, and one to florida. They were caught and executed by the coast guard.

     In 1931, Hitler decided to invade Russia. He said: “in 2 years, the British, the American, And the Russians will be ready. We don’t want to deal with all three, so we have to remove the largest threat in the east.” The war turned hot then, roads packed with refugees, explosions from German migs, cannons, and tanks, were heard from all sides. 2,000 bombers from Germany bombed Russia in the west side. it was about 100 miles until the first Russian was spotted. from then on, screams and yells mingled together with the explosions and migs and guns.  The Nazis slowly moved toward the prize, the goal, Leningrad. The Russians were heroically trying to push the Nazis out of the country. Stalin told 2,000,000 soldiers to surround Leningrad, and protect it from the Nazis.The Nazis lost millions of men, and hundreds of troops, during the fight through Russia. Imagine their surprise, disgust, and fear when they looked through the branches in the forest to the long-wanted city! They had to escape quickly.

     The Russians, Canadians, Americans, and the British attacked Germany together, and the Germans fought hard, but, only about 3-4 million soldiers from Germany were there. The 3^rd Riech collapsed. The Germans were in chaos. Bombs rained down on cities, and soldiers flooded houses. Tanks shot down buildings.  Some came out, thinking that they would stand it better outside than in an exploded building. Few survived.

     Finally, Hitler killed himself in his bunker, as the red flag was raised over Berlin.

      In 1945 the war was over. the world rejoiced that the war was finally over, and the Happy outcome of it!

          A young dog arrested on 02/20/08 on charges of vandalism. The news clips below are the crimes Jeffrey Todd has committed in the past 2 weeks. Believe it or not, the victim of these crimes is the criminal's  own mother! These crimes were the worst ones. Over the 2 weeks, he has  bitten his aunt, attacked his 7-month-old aunt, and stole his cousin, Cleo Leana's, food. His sentance is 7 days.

   Well....this is the 5 things thing.....

Jesse Had another meeting in the gang house. "what do you say we hit 'em in a few minutes?" He asked his friends. They agreed right away. They went to the nearby town, thinking of the loot they would bring home. But the men of the city were ready to fight. they opened fire on the gang. Bill Chadwell, Clell Miller, and Charlie Pits were shot and killed, And Bob, Cole, and James, all younger brothers were shot and wounded. They fell, and were captured. Jesse and Frank were wounded but rode away. At the time of his death, He stiil had a bullet hole above his right eye. He ran and went on the assumed name, J.D. Howard. He recruited a new gang, that included: Bob and Charlie Ford, and Dick Liddell. Dick liddell was captured, or, more accurate, he surrendered.

      The gang ended when, when Jesse was only 35 years old, Bob visited him in his mom's home. He (Bob) picked up a paper and read how Dick surrendered. He already knew this, but knew that Jesse was going to kill him if he knew (: ' /) Here are Bob's Exact WORDS:

 On the morning of April 3, Jess and I went downtown, as usual, before breakfast, for the papers. We got to the house about eight o'clock and sat down in the front room. Jess was sitting with his back to me, reading the St. Louis Republican. I picked up the Times, and the first thing I saw in big headlines was the story about Dick Liddil's surrender. Just then Mrs. James came in and said breakfast was ready. Beside me was a chair with a shawl on it, and as quick as a flash I lifted it and shoved the paper under. Jess couldn't have seen me, but he got up, walked over to the chair, picked up the shawl and threw it on the bed, and taking the paper, went out to the kitchen. I felt that the jig was up, but I followed and sat down at the table opposite Jess.

Mrs. James poured out the coffee and then sat down at one end of the table. Jesse spread the paper on the table in front of him and began to look over the headlines. All at once Jess said: "Hello, here. The surrender of Dick Liddil." And he looked across at me with a glare in his eyes.

"Young man, I thought you told me you didn't know that Dick Liddil had surrendered," he said.

I told him I didn't know it.

"'Well," he said, "it's very strange. He surrendered three weeks ago and you was right there in the neighborhood. It looks fishy."

He continued to glare at me, and I got up and went into the front room. In a minute I heard Jess push his chair back and walk to the door. He came in smiling, and said pleasantly: "Well, Bob, it's all right, anyway."

Instantly his real purpose flashed upon my mind. I knew I had not fooled him. He was too sharp for that. He knew at that moment as well as I did that I was there to betray him. But he was not going to kill me in the presence of his wife and children. He walked over to the bed, and deliberately unbuckled his belt, with four revolvers in it, and threw it on the bed. It was the first time in my life I had seen him without that belt on, and I knew that he threw it off to further quiet any suspicions I might have.

He seemed to want to busy himself with something to make an impression on my mind that he had forgotten the incident at the breakfast table, and said: "That picture is awful dusty." There wasn't a speck of dust that I could see on the picture, but he stood a chair beneath it and then got upon it and began to dust the picture on the wall.

As he stood there, unarmed, with his back to me, it came to me suddenly, 'Now or never is your chance. If you don't get him now he'll get you tonight.' Without further thought or a moment's delay I pulled my revolver and leveled it as I sat. He heard the hammer click as I cocked it with my thumb and started to turn as I pulled the trigger. The ball struck him just behind the ear and he fell like a log, dead.

 This ended the gang, and Bob was later killed by his brother, Charlie.

          Also called 'America's Robin Hood'                     Part 1

I am sure you are wondering what EXACTLY the 'Robin Hood' part of the title meant....Well, Let's get on with the story, or else, if I tell you NOW, it will ruin my story, as you will know it all......

       The year 1847 was a year that some officers of the 18 hundreds said should have never been, as over 20 officers were killed by the gang that the man who was born then started. He was an American outlaw, the most famous for his cruel way of robbing citizens and quick-to-flight ways, only to jump out from behind bushes at just the right time.

       He was a son of a minister, and his mother had high hopes of him becoming a pastor himself. His good-looking features won him many friends. Most of these became part of his gang he established at age 23. He always wore a belt with four revolvers on it. "Good defense" was his explanation to his mother, who had no idea where he and his 12 friends went to every night.

       He hardly killed anyone before the accident, but when it happened, his rage was terrible. He had went to attack the nearby town, and stole 32,000 dollars from a bank. When he came back, smoke was steaming out of his kitchen window. He went in. What had happened was in his mind. It turned out that the officers of the police force had surrounded his home, and threw a bomb through the window. It blew off his mother's arm, and killed his two-year-old brother. His brother's body reminded him of his 4-year-old sister's, when she was killed in a car accident, when he and Frank had been only 12 and 14 years old. He remembered his wound, a gash that went down his arm. He wept bitterly.  He went out to the gang house, and they all went to the railroad tracks. They waited. When the train arrived, he shouted, "halt!" The train stopped so fast that the engine tipped and killed the engineer. The gang went through the cars and stole all valuables from the people.

   Who was this man, who was a robber, who killed, himself, about 11 people in his so-called "carreer"?

     His name was Jesse James, America's "Robin Hood"

                  

 Welcome. You are in a time long ago, maybe in the 12-11 hundreds,before Columbus discovered America. Imagine a group of black-clothed people going north, toward Russia. The leader, called a ninja master, seems a little sneaky. see how he leads the people against rocks, trees, or any other obstacle? Well, you can't blame him. He is leading his men far away, into Russia, to ask the king to send men to help fight the Sumarai . But, why do they have small, black, ripped cloth around their bodies? The answer is simple. Look at the rocks around them. Those rocks look alot like the nearly completely covered men and women, right? GOOD! Yes, the cloth resembles stones. Remember the Sumarai I talked about? They were cruel, ghastly acting men. They hated China, I mean...hated the people IN China.Especially Ninjas, who were warriors in China. Ninjas were the lowest of the low Chinese. They captured the Ninjas and cruelly put them to death, slowly stabbing them to death, or slowly cutting off parts of their bodies. Usually toe to head. The Ninjas were sly, quick, and strong. But, they slept during the day, to be able to walk by night, where their cloth resembled the darkness. See? The cloth had several uses.

Ninjas were littarally called non-humans because they were so low.

The Sumarai were very 'religous', worshiping as many as 200 gods! Would that be confusing for you? It would be for me! Aren't you glad for the one true God that cares for us? Because they were so cruel, the Ninjas hated religous stuff.  Sometimes when a Ninja would repent, The others would kill them, because the Sumarai were religous, so they wanted to destroy all religin. The sumarai's bamboo armour was so thick, that they could not run! They made stronger weopons because of that. Their bamboo knives and swords were sharper that a Ninja's sword. That is why the people trained in Ninjatsu  needed to be able to dodge so quickly! Anyway, The Ninjas could dodge fast enough to dodge a musket bullet if it was shot 100-200 feet away.

 

Contrary to what you see on the shows, they NEVER clasped swords to block an attack. For, they were so flimsy, they would break!

OK, I am going to tell you what is happening lately, up here in WI. I have been watching the going-to-be-8-inches snow come down, it has been blowing ALL day, from.....oh, 9:00 A.M. something, till now. 9:58 P.M. It is 13* here ( did you know that some weather watchers use that? ) Of course, now, in florida, it might be warm (And thet is where I wish I was! :' D)! tomorrow it will snow...oh, about 3in. HAHA!! I spent more time telling about the weather than the 'news'! Well, Rose is borrowing me her recorder to learn to use it! I already know how to use harmonica (only 1 song: Jesus loves me) and the organ. (5 songs) Oh, does it sound as if I am bragging? : ) the harmonica is the easiest. Of course, my wrists start to ache flapping like the wind ! I have a collection of 156 foriegn coins. I am trying to put them on my coin 'book' on my wordpad.  it is taking LONG. : ( So, anyway, Maybe I have a few photos coming here. cant tell how long it will take!  LOL!

hello, there! welcome to the 16 hundreds! you are in the time of Pocahontas, the daughter of the chief, Powhatan ( pronounced POW-HOT-IN) . now, this is when the iroquis were still strong! powhatan fought, oh, I will say, about 20 battles with them. OK, lets go to the band of warriors. a strong, honored warrior was called a brave.  the warriors were always painted. black, from head to toe, was for solemn tribal matters, like hard decisions. red, yellow, black, and green, were for war. I DONT believe you want to know what those colors meant! also, do you know what all names pocahontas had? lets see........oh, here! her names were matoaka (little playful one) , pocahontas ( favorite daughter ), rebbeca ( her favorite bible character ) and, white feather. if you were talked about here, in comoco, or potamac, or any other village, you would be called, bearded strangers, tassentassies ( skunks ) pale strangers, bearded strangers, white soldiers ( even if  you were a lady ) , and then white strangers.  the kind of buildings? oh, they had wigwams, and long houses. ( one for each village ) the wigwams were for the common indians, as well as one for prisoners. the longhouse was home to the chief. as well as a council place. the Quiowcosuk, or the priest of Okewas, was always dressed as black as possible, pretty much. he wore black at every time he visited the village, as he lived apart from the village. If you were a leader in the jamestown people, you would be called a 'chief among the pale ones/tassentassies/' ect. the warriors were painted in their war colors when there was any type of death, or green, in times of burial.  Do you know the kind of drink that the indians were most interested in, that came with the white men? MILK! They had never seen milk, and they certainly had never thought you could milk bison! they were called buffalo wrongly, because they are hardley related to the water buffalo of africa, or europe! the white settelers called them 'humped oxen' because of the HUGE humps on the back of the animal. WERE they ever surprised when they landed and found strawberries 5 TIMES as big as in europe! and the strange artichokes! And they were amazed when they saw the american turkey! they had wondered, "what is that strange bird?" and they had never saw ringneck pheasants either! they were amazed of the beauty of the bird! they shot hundreds of them to stuff, and to keep the feathers, and then they found out they were good to eat! they shot more of them! of course, when they stopped hunting them so much, the animals jumped back up on their population! For, they laid about 12 eggs, safely hidden. but, the bison were different!!  they shot more, and more, and more, and more, for specimens, food, hide, teeth, bones, and any other thing they found, then. the buffalo herds were dissapearing! the indians were ANGRY! they fought the white men, but, with the cannons ( called thundersticks) and guns ( called the small thundersticks), the white men were stronger than the indians! they also had horses to run after the runaways! soon, the number of indians were declining, too! the indians were now frightened! the iroquis were scared when the men shot two of the chiefs down with a cannon! then, powhatan was dead, and the indians had no wise rule over them, anymore! they had metacomet, powhatan's son, lead them to battle against the pilgrims, and they were diffeated ( the indians, not the pilgrims )! they were now more frightened! they had the iroquis help them, but they still lost! was this a need to fight the indians? no, they could have at least saved a little indian space! they pushed every indian into a small space just next to the mississippi. well, you might wonder  "how did they fit there?" well, as you might know, there were very few indians, scattered through the americas! their were only about a 50 in every village! so, their are about as many as in a small town.

     the white men had come to take over america. the indians had no rule in their old home.
