Welcome to the Homeschool Nations blog for the state of Tennessee! I am Betsy, your state coordinator. I'm not an expert on homeschooling, but I've done it for a long time and if you have some questions, please feel free to send me an email and I'll get back to you as soon as I am able. I might not be able to answer all your questions, but I probably could point you in the right direction for answers.
My family and I live in the foothills of the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. We have been homeschooling our blessings since 1995. God has given us three children to raise for His glory…all boys! Our oldest has graduated from college and is now married! Now we only have two little men left at home to continue nurturing down the pathway to manhood.
The main purpose of this blog is to keep us who homeschool in Tennessee all on the ‘same page’ so to speak concerning the happenings of homeschooling in Tennessee. Not just all the legal stuff, all the fun stuff too!
That’s where you could come in! We need contributors for our state blog. Please let me know about local happenings or just things you know of that are going on anywhere in Tennessee. The more contributors we have, the more information that we can share that we all can benefit from.
