Curriculum Stores

Posted in book fairs

One of the first questions I always get concerning homeschooling is "Where can I buy materials?"

There are many on-line sites and homeschool catalogs that offer many, many selections. Here are some of my favorite on-line places to order new curriculum.

The Schoolhouse Store                     Rainbow Resource

R.O.C.K.Solid                                  Home Science Tools

Anissa's Homeschool links page lists many new/used curriculum on-line sellers.

And here are some great places to find used curriculum on-line:

Homeschool Buy                             Vegsource Homeschool Talk & Swap

The Homeschool Mom    and   The Home Sweet Homeschool list many other on-line sites for used books.

The Book Samaritan can help you located used books on a shoe-string budget.

And here is a link to help you to find physical stores in your area that sell homeschool materials.

Homeschool Headquarters

By all means I don't try to list every place on the Net that you could buy homeschooling materials! I just listed the ones I use frequently. There are plenty out there, just search for 'homeschool books'. Goodluck!

Used Book Sale

Posted in book fairs

Knox County Friends of the Library Used Book Sale!

With over 14,000 square feet of used books, CDs, and DVDs, the annual Friends of the Library book sale is one of the most anticipated events of a book lover's year, and a great way to find a new book! Most books are $2 and under, and proceeds benefit the Library. Check it out from March 2-8 at the Knoxville Convention and Exposition Center in the Holiday Inn on World's Fair Park.

Visit the Friends of the Library site for more info.

Book Samaritan

Posted in book fairs
The Book Samaritan was established to help take the stress out of buying
books and curriculum so homeschoolers can get down to the
business of educating their children!

Check out The Book Samaritan if you are needing help with your textbook purchases or would like to donate your used textbooks to their ministry. A wonderful way to share with those in need.

Have a great week!
