Today for Easter Service, my pastor said that he was no longer going to pray for God to help him. He said that he realized that when you ask God to help you, it is as if you are getting part of the glory. However, when you ask God to do His work through you, then only God can get the glory. You have died to yourself and He is glorified.

What does this have to do with homeschooling? I have decided to change my prayers. I am no longer asking God to help me to teach my children. I am praying that God will work through me to teach my children.

I will give my weekly report as to how this prayer formed.
