Mar. 31, 2008 - Deer Siting On Homeschool Campus
This is my writing for the HSB Company Porch the Homeschool Times:
Early Friday Morning, children were eating breakfast and preparing to get ready for school. When, suddenly, some animals were walking through the backyard. The children rushed to the window to see the event. Coming through the trees, three young brown deer walked through the tree and among the rocks. The children jump up and down and wanted to go outside, but were unable to due to lack of shoes on their feet.
One child decided to obtain a camera. After long and arduous search, the child emerged with a camera. He bursted out of the house. The deer were already in the mountains, but the child was able to get a shot just as the deer left the homeschool campus. One deer even looked back for a photo shot.

It sounds like your children got their day off to a wonderful start. Taking time to observe God's creations is always educational.

What a wonderful story! It's so great that your son was able to get pictures before they disappeared. How many times have we missed a bunny, cool bird, or something else because we had to hunt for a camera!
