My younger son is in this soccer summer select program called European Soccer Academy.  Oh! This weekend was awful.  I am crying!!!! My son spent all week at this camp.  Then, they went to tournaments all weekend and the coach hardly played him.  My son is so discouraged.   Why did his travel coach say that he was good and that they needed people on the team?  My son may have lost interest in soccer. 

The tournaments consist of 20 minute halves.  The coach played only their best players and my son was benched.  He played 4 minutes in one game.  He was put in and put out in a second game.  The third game was the same as the third.  Then, that was it.  The fourth game, the coach never played him.  My husband thinks that we should ask for our money back.  He said that he did not pay all this money for his son to be benched.  The coach said to me on Saturday that it is hard to play 12 players with only 20 minutes.

I will not do this again.  People anyone who reads this blog.  Know that I am so uncertained as to what to do about this.  Should we drop out and ask for our money back or should we have my son still go to the weekly practices? 

I will write more about this later.  Just pray for me!
