"Why did they say they wanted me and then not play me?" My son crying hysterically in the dark last night.  The experience devastated my husband.  I told him that a friend said that it is not just about the tournaments.  She told me that it could be a learning experience for my son.  My husband explained that another mother (who's son was also benched) was straight told that this program was all about the tournaments.

You have to understand.  My son has never warmed the bench before.  This is a blow.  The thought of leaving soccer, my son contemplated that idea this weekend too.  He exclaimed that he did not want to have anything to do with soccer over the summer.  So, we are looking into tennis.

It is early in the morning.  I should be doing things for my ministry and I am dealing with this situation instead.  Another blow!
