Hmm, not posted here in a while. Wow just looked almost a month. Sorry 'bout that. I've just been posting on my main blog here. So if you're all interested in what I've been doing you can go check that. So sit tight for a bit. I have new stuff here soon.
Along with it's rare and very shy yellow trailers.
Dad also went to the hand doctor today. They said it's a wait and see kind of thing. but they think it looks good so far. And...tomorrow I go and have my wisdom teeth removed.
I do have a prayer request if you think about it. My dad got his hand caught in the sliding mechanism of his fence at work this morning. He went to the ER and got a bunch of stitches, and a sort of temporary cast/splint (even though he didn't brake anything). Then on Monday he's got to go see a hand specialist, to see if he needs surgery.
So yeah, "Its always something" as my dad puts it.
Biking is a pretty big sport here. I guess it's the mountains and all.
Any way I saw this guy ride by the protest, and just shot. I so thought I was going to mess the shot up. But I was shooting a large f/ and fast shutter so that helped. I wish I had thought to use AI Servo AF mode that day, now that I think about it.
One of my favorites. No reason why just is.
Oh and the camera guy's from channel 12 news. It's not actually on channel 12 it's more like channel 10, but channel 9 news is on channel 13, So yeah...cable's weird.
And hey look, a no Obama tee shirt!
So got to get me one of those.
As some of you may know April 15 is tax day.
You may also know our economy is not in the greatest shape due to the influence of our government.
So, all around the country people were conducting "tea parties" as a form of protest.
Well they had one right here in Chattanooga so I went. It being a momentous moment and all.
It was very peaceable, and I though it was a great thing. It was interesting seeing people from all different parties come together and protest the government.
There were people who spoke, but I've no idea who they were and I couldn't find their names anywhere. Oh well.
I did have an interesting thought though.
Why do we say the pledge of allegiance, and cross our hearts during the Star Spangled Banner?
I don't know it just seemed a bit sacrilegious.
As Christians is not our loyalty to God, and not a piece of dirt or scrap of cloth?
Don't get me wrong, I think living in the freedom of America is wonderful.
I just think it's strange to that we do these cultural things that have no biblical reason.
Had to go to the oral surgeon early this morning.
It was just a consult so it was only like a 30 min visit.
I go and have my wisdom teeth removed in 2 weeks.
Any who since I was out and it still relatively early (like 8:30ish) I went over to the marine on the lake side of Chickamauga Dam.
Not sure how I go to take pictures of boats and the lake, and wind up posting a shot of trees.
But there you go.
