Hi everyone president godzwilla has given me permission to start the first debate. Let's debate about the stimulus package and abortion. Really there was no need for the stimulus package in the first place, not to mention there's talk of a 2nd one too. That stimulus package is not helping the economy at all. Please tell me your opinions about this issue. Abortion on the other hand, is so wrong. I'm against it. It's like murder. They used to (the term inside the womb) call it a baby, now they call it a fetus. I learned that human life begins at conception and that is so true. Please let me know your opinions on this issue as well.

Hello one and all! Liberals and conservatives! Everyone who is reading this...etc.
President Wood (godzwilla) here. How many of you guys think that we should start a debate? I think its about time a debate got going. I would like to debate on abortion first off but I'll do an election thingy-ma-bobbers. Here are the choices:
Creation vs Evolution
Abortion
Stimulus Package
Leave a comment with your vote in. All votes must be in by July 6th and even if you aren't a member, you can add your two cents and thoughts on the subject and since it will be the first debate, you can vote for this one.

Hello everyone!!
Welcome to The Debaters :)
Hopefully this will be place to share beliefs/convictions in a way that would please our Savior.
Before we start, I think we need to go over the rules, written by the President of this club (godzwilla). And expanded by me ;) I'm the Vice President, btw...so I'm told XD
1) God first. Before you write anything, ask yourself if you can imagine Jesus saying it. If the answer is no...don't bother writing it!! To spell it out to you, this includes absolutely no cussing :D
2) Please don't change any settings, such as the password. Everyone who joins will be given the password to enable them to post entries, but don't mess with anything. This will result in an immediate ban. :)
3) No hate messages!! If you say anything rude/mean to any other member you will be banned, and reported to Homeschoolblogger officials. So be nice :)
4) No "random" posts. This means anything other than writing about issues to debate about. If you want to post something and are unsure whether it meets the requirements, PM godzwilla or lula. In fact, PM us if you have any questions, about anything :)
5) No hitting each other with pointed sticks!! (Oh dear)
Now your probably thinking "So how does this place work??". Let me explain.
We'll all take turns in choosing a topic to talk about. That way each person will have the opportunity to write entries. Either me or "The President" will PM you telling you that its your turn to pick a subject, then you'll write an entry on whatever you want. Then the other members will write their opinion on the matter. If you want to address someone specifically (in reply to a comment they made) write RE: (insert name here) in the title of your comment.
Its pretty simple really :D
If you would like to join The Debaters, PM godzwilla or lula. Tell us why you would like to join. The only requirements are these: 1) You must know your stuff!! If you don't have a clue about current issues, then this probably isn't the group for you. 2) You must be between the ages of 11-18. This is mainly for teens :) When you PM us, tell us your age. 3) You must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and strive to glorify him in everything you do and say.
