This is What's up with the Frost's

It Seems, our Yearly spring post!

So I thought I would stop by to look at the blog spot and started thinking about how I have totally not done anything for so long.  It is spring again and the garden is in full bloom.  Ray is excited about his garden but not as excited as last year.  He loves to try planting new melons that he has never heard of before.  I was disappointed to find out that we had no cantelope, only banana melon.  I started having visions of jelly melon and what a flop they were and began to get disappointed.  As if God could see my disappointment, a cantelope volunteer came up and is doing great.  I might be able to make cantelope bread and pie after all.

Other than the Garden, we have lots going on with 3 kids.  Cathlyn did great this year in school, but was not ready to move on into 1st grade.  She will be following in her mother's footsteps and staying back in Kinder again.  Alison will start Kinder this year as well.  We are looking forward to a great school year.  Their teachers have been incredible and we are all excited about school starting again and getting to do it all over again.   She can't hardly wait.  She is incredibly funny, as she says the funniest things.  But along with that is the attitude my mom seems to remember.  HOLY MOLY!  Pierce is funny as well.  He keeps us all laughing most of the time.  He came a nd brought me a flower one day last week.  I oogle and awed over the beauty of the flower.  He takes is ballcap off and curtsies and says, "You're welcome, your majesty."  At least someone in this house understands my position.

Summer has gone great for us.  We have planned one fun thing to do each week.  Our plans span from the movies to the lake, picnics to parks and everywhere in between.  The kids have had a blast so far.  Mom's big plans are to purchase a tent and go camping and fishing.  Believe it or not, my husband isn't all that into it.  He thinks camping involves something with an RV.  Boy has he been sheltered!  And yes he was a BOYSCOUT!

Well hope all is well with your families.  Take care and God bless!

I think the garden is beautiful. And your tomato "trees" are something else. I added some of your tomatoes to a pasta dish at lunch today, and I always throw in a handful with my salad. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. Your kinder "garden" is beautiful, too.
