Happenings in my life
Day 1
Awnay Rien,
I thought that it would be cool if I had a section that I just told you some of what is happening in my life. Don't worry, I won't tell you everything, my computer would fry from to much information. I noticed in my posts that I mentioned waiting for my Eagle Board of Review for Boy Scouts. Well, I am now an official Eagle Scout! The effective date was 11/29/07, but I just forgot to tell you. Talk to you all later!

Day 2
Well, I have just bought a laptop with the money I received at my Eagle Ceremony, (it being tax free day and all) and I have been writing on it like mad for the past little while. I thought I might as well post a little more (being an author it is hard not to want to share ones work you know), and also tell you that I passed 200 pages on my book! (When I say pages I mean a full 8 x 11 page.) My word count is around 87,200, and the plot is working out quite well. The only problem is the ending. It has been bugging me for a long time. I don't know exactly how to cut off the story so you all will be dying to read more, and I sorta know what I want to happen, but I don't know where to stop writing. It's all very perplexing...
Buh-Bye!
Day 3
Good news! Whilst I was typing late Tuesday night (around 11:40p.m.) I finally figured out my ending! Its going to be great...a little LOTR and Eragon combined I would say, but then again I combine so much no one could tell the difference. I do believe I have to do Biology now...

Day 4
Well, yesterday my band, the Knoxville Christian Youth Band went to Dollywood to compete with 12-15 other bands. Our band is around 25 people, and we were competing with bands that had 80+ kids. We took 1st place in our division, and we took first place overall with a Superior and a score of 95! It's really cool that a small homeschooler band that only practices once a week can beat that many other schools who practice every day. Just anted to let you guys know.

Day 5
Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that I have started a new blog that you can view here: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/youngbiblescholars/ , and my editor has also started a blog of her own here: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ninwaii . I'd like some discussion on my new blog...right now its just been me and two others. Come and check it out!
Day 6
Well, my best friend just took off headed to Germany right now. My dad is an air traffic controller, and he just spoke to their plane that just lifted off. It feels weird knowing that a person I know will be on the other side of the world tomorrow. She'll be going to a ginormous homeschooler conference with us pretty soon though, so that will be fun. Oh, that's Ninwaii I'm talking about BTW. She's supposed to be blogging about what she does whilest in Germany...so I'm going to watch her blog to see if she really does.
TTFN!

Day 7
Well...I knew I had to tell you all this, because it is HUGE. I just finished my first rough draft of Kantare and Ninwaii!!! Now I'm going on to editing (oh joy...) and then on to publishing. While I'm looking for a publisher, (after I'm finished editing) I'm going to start on the rough draft for Kantare and Ninwaii 2, of which I already have the first couple chapters sketched out. Thought you'd all like to know!

Day 8
Well, I'm in Winston-Salem, NC right now at a huge homeschool conference, and I'm about to go down to the "ball room" and play a ton of games. Last night I danced for the first time, (whoa it was GREAT) and my favorite dance was most certainly swing dancing. Yes, homeschoolers can be a LITTLE social as I found out, and we can even dance together! Mrs. Amelia Harper was here at NCHE as this conference is called, and she has agreed to read my book and give me some tips. (Hope that all goes well...) Talk to you guys later!

P.S. I'm going to a music camp pretty soon, so check this section out and I'll tell you some of what I do. : : )
Day 9
So I am at music camp right now, and it is amazingly awesome. We are having our concert tomorrow night, and we have to play all three songs by memory, and we have to improvise to all three. I have learned lots of things on jazz and improvisation, and I have been going from 6:15 am to 11:00 pm every day. Overall though, it has been a great week. For you people in TN, Don Hough (Huff) is my band instructor, and has been one of the most hard jazz gigs I have ever been in, but also the most fun. I'll write again on Saturday or sooner and tell how our concert goes, and then it's off to Boy Scout camp on Sunday! (Yea the joys of an unsocialized homeschooler.)
TTFN!
