Of Kantare and Ninwaii

Day 11

Well, as you can see, I'm back from my camping trip!  I had LOADS of fun, and I even got to write 1,000 or so words on my book.  We (Ninwaii's family and mine) went to Fall Creek Falls (near Crossville) and camped for about 4 days.  We played cards, lazed around, went biking, lazed around some more, went boating, and then, you guessed it, lazed even more.  I ALMOST convinced Ninwaii to jump out of her canoe in exchange for my drinking a full mug of coffee (I hate the stuff, and she knows it) but, she wouldn't do it.  I would rag her about it, but I'll be a nice best friend and not, for once.

Mom's asking if I'm getting off or not now, so I guess I had better go.  She said something about cleaning the little bathroom.  Fun.  I'll write again as soon as I am sane once more!

Hi Kantare! That sounds like a lot of fun! Camping always is. You don't have to answer this, but I felt I just couldn't pass the opportunity up; would you happen to be Russian by any chance? Your initials at the bottom of the page gave me the hint. Let me know if you don't get the joke. Talk to you later!

I went camping once, several years ago. It was just for a night, though, in one of those campground thingys that aren't out in the middle of nowhere. I don't remember much about it, except that it rained that night, and I (stupidly) had not properly insulated myself and woke up shivering uncontrolably.
Grr. My renegade character, Joshuel, is hanging over my shoulder like a vulture. Apparently he wants to say something...

Yes, actually, I do. Greetings, Kantare, this is Joshuel. I go camping ALOT. Unfortunately, I do not get the chance to laze about because when I camp out, I am on a scouting misson.
As my authoress said, she does not go camping, so I did not know it was a common practice in this world.
I hope that you get so show up at some of the meetings that we have in the c-box (facinating things, these c-boxes, I must say) for I would very much like to converse with you. As it is, I must run off to the c-box - Theynore is harrasing me about being unimaginative...and weak. AUGH!!!! *runs off, growling*

Oh dear. I do believe that Theynore has aroused Joshuel's temper. They are on the verge of a sword fight. I'd better go smooth things over before they get out of hand!

I knew that you enjoyed Lord of the Rings so I thought you might like this rather whimsical sketch or what Nazgul might look like in the future.

Hi Kantare! The Joke is that the initials you gave at the bottom of your post is KGB. KGB was the Russian secret police. That's why I asked. That's good that you get to camp a lot, Eagle Scout. Talk to you later!
