One busy week...

in Family - Leave a Note

This past week has been so busy!

On Saturday, our church had a Sewing Class. The mothers got together with their daughters and learned to sew. Nearly everyone completed a simple skirt. My mom and  Bethany  were both there as was I. Mom and Bethany were both helpers to the less experienced sewers. I helped too, but mostly in another way. Three of the moms brought their babies with them. All three of which are under one year old. I had the pleasure of taking care of each of these babies in turn, allowing the mother to sew. It was so fun! The oldest is 9 month old boy, the next a 4 month old boy and the youngest is a 3 month old girl. They are all so sweet!!!

The next day at church we had Baby Dedication. It was so sweet! Five or six babies all  a year and a half in age and younger were all dedicated. Afterwards we all went to the park for several hours in celebration. We had a wonderful time! I spent half of my time (at least) in taking care of our pastor’s youngest daughter. She is one and a half and SO adorable!

Then yesterday evening we went to our pastors house to celebrate Reformation Day. We had a wonderful time! Our pastor and his wife have five children, thirteen and under. The oldest is a boy and the other four are girls. There was also another family from church present. They have only one boy eight years old. We dressed up like the reformers (well kind of), ate a huge feast, then the young people played games and talked while the parents just talked. I had so much fun! We stayed until 1:30 in the morning so I am somewhat tired today, but I would not have left earlier for anything.

Just wanted to share about my week!
