Sep. 21, 2008 - The Week In Review
So we are aproaching our fourth week of school this week and things could not be going better. The kids are taking a weekly swimming class that our local rec. dept. started for homeschoolers. My youngest son also started a music class last week that is taught by a women who taught for many years. We have A birthday party for our daughter coming up this weekend. She will be ten. We are attending tutoring twice a week with our eight year old. My daughter's best friend will be moving at the end of the week so they have gotton a few play dates in recently. All in all, I am really trying to keep things simplier and we are getting much more done at home. I feel like we are working more on quality with school work this year and refining some of the things that need it like spelling. Hubby got transferred to second shift in his job. Last year I felt like I needed more help from him with school and such but I have never cared for second shift but I have found it wonderful. I am getting the extra help and he is getting much needed rest. Second shift is at least more natural than third shift. I am also still working unlike I previously posted, just ten hours a week. So that's what is going on here. If the year continues to go this fast it will be May before I know it?
