My Poem For The 2008 Autumn Poetry Party

 

 

 

First Day Of Fall

I walked outside on the first day of Fall

The grass was a light green

There was the smell of blooming flowers

And a sky like the deep blue sea

I saw the leaves falling off the trees

And bright orange pumpkins

Every where I see

And even a scarecrow smiling back at me
