A Story I Wrote...
A Battle With The Monkey
The Black Pearl
It was late at night, and Jack Sparrow was walking on the deck of the Black Pearl. He thought he heard something, so he turned around. He saw Mr. Gibbs.
“Gibbs, what are you doing on the deck this late at night?” Jack asked.
“I thought I heard something Captain,” Gibbs answered. “So I came up here to see what it was.”
“Let’s go find out ,” Jack said.
They looked around for quite awhile, but never heard the sound. When they gave up looking, Jack walked up the steps to the wheel. Then he heard something.
What was that?
All of a sudden something grabbed Jack’s hat and ran away. There was only one thing that could have done that.
“Catch that monkey!” he ordered.
Gibbs immediately obeyed and started chasing after the monkey. The monkey ran up the steps, just as Jack ran down them. Grabbing his pistol, Jack ran up the steps and aimed for the monkey.
“Give me the hat!” he ordered.
The monkey just stared. Jack took a step closer. The monkey sat on the side of the ship, and held the hat out over the water. Jack couldn’t believe it. The monkey was mocking him!
“Come ‘ere,” Jack said quietly. “I won’t shoot if you give me my hat.”
The monkey looked at Jack, as if it were considering the offer.
"Please?” Great, I’m talking to a stupid monkey. Jack thought.
The monkey came closer to Jack. Just as Jack was about to grab his hat, the monkey ran. Jack grabbed his pistol and shot at the monkey, causing it to drop the hat as it ran away.
“That doesn’t do any good,” Gibbs said.
“Got my hat back, though, didn’t I?”
“True.”
“And that,” Jack said, with a smile. “ Is how you deal with a monkey.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My Favorite Pirates Of The Caribbean Quotes
Hey everybody! This is my first ever blog entry, and it's about my fave Pirates quotes. Here they are :
Jack: I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, Savvy?
Will: You cheated.
Jack: Pirate.
Barbossa: Why, thank you, Jack.
Jack: You're welcome.
Barbossa: Not you. We named the monkey, "Jack".
Elizabeth: What's that over there?
Jack: Wait! Nobody move! I dropped me brain!
Jack: I like it. Simple, easy to remember.
