My poetry

Feb. 9, 2006 - Hello Hello hello

Hi I am back with one of the poems I wrote for February.

February is known as the month of love,

But does any one know what this time is truly made of?

Is it the time to spend a buck at a kissing booth?

That may be what it means to others but for me it's time for spiritual truth.

To rekindle your love with the Lord our saviour,

To regain that llost and precious favior,

I remeber the purpose and I will remind you in case you forgot.

To make Jesus Christ our Lord the center and reason of our every thought.

To hit the bullseye like a spiritual dart.

It's time to get close to the Lord, heart to heart.

Dec. 20, 2005 - Im back with another poem.

This piece I have for you today is called THE ONLY WAY.

THE ONLY WAY:

By:Noah Akins.

What's that smell?

Is it another soul in Hell?

Our is that the scent of unwellness?

Or maybe it's our failure to witness?

Did they go to Hell because they were wraped up inthere evil beliefes?

Or was it that they blamed God for all there griefs?

The maoments in life aren't garented like a pingalum sway,

That's why we all must know that Jesus Christ is the only way.

Dec. 19, 2005 - Greetings

For my first entry I'll leave you with one of my poems. It is entitled Strength.

Strength

by Noah Akins, 9th grade

What does it mean to be strong?

What does it mean to be fit?

Is it the ability to sing a song?

Or is it the courage to never quit?

What choice is there left to make,

When everything you knew was quite fake?

Is this true adasity?

Because it seems to this point in life it's been a fantasy?

What does it mean to love?

Is it made of fighting, hatred, and pain?

Is it that all the work we do for a family in vain?

What does it mean to be true?

I thought  I knew, do you?
