The Writings Of A Young Woman In Christ

Jan. 17, 2009 - I have decided...(*"To follow Jesus!"* You guys ever heard that song? It's what I always think of when I hear "I have decided." Long story. And long title.)

....I have decided to tag my friend Kris! (Her username is BeautifulSomehow. She just joined so I think she deserves a little tag...heehee) So since I said I wasn't going to tag anyone-- which made you all under that assumption-- I wanted to tell you that I have now changed my mind. Go Kris! Love you, my friend.

Always His,

Dallas

Oh, the pressure! Haha, just kidding. Actually, this might be kind of fun. But now that I'm "it" I need to find someone to tag. Hmm...

I'm actually not very fond of milk, either. Sorry to butt in, but I just had to say that. There's just something kind of repulsive about it. *shudder, shudder*

Jan. 18, 2009 - :)

Hi Dallas! :) In reply to your note....

I definitely feel differently about the age 15 - *not at all* did I find 15 to be a "blah" age! 2008 - my 15th year - was outstanding..an exciting, adventure-filled one. I have learned so much, plus having nurtured an even deeper understanding of life, and its delicate balance of of simplicity and complexity to add...besides planting a variety of ambitions and interests. It was filled with friends old and new, fun times and places, new opportunities, a slew of memories, dream and hope launchers. And...it was when I was 15 that the Lord gave me a chance privilege to *shake the hand of my hero*.
No, 15 for me was a far cry form being boring or uneventful! - It just seems I've been 15 for quite a while, and I'm just ready for a fresh number, and that change in my identity - yet I feel my life is flying by without me. Strange. :)
.."that there's nothing totally special about it?" is what you said in your comment...yea, I'd have to disagree. ;)
Well as I've told you I am not 16 just yet...but will be March 8th. Hahaa....being 16 it'll feel different than 15 for me I'm sure. Maybe in your case you just have to undergo a few more months, and then it'll be different. :D Hm, yes, sweet 16. But I don't see how'll it'll be any sweeter than previous ages, because according to the worlds standards the sweet 16 phrase refers to when a girl goes out into the world and becomes involved with worldly things...that is *not* my plan, and I'm sure its not yours either. :) So I will be 16 - not sweet 16. :)
(thanks for the early birthday wishes!)

What is your experience with never having combined history and writing? What do you like to write? What era of history interests you? - American or World?

Ttyl! Have a nice Sunday evening, with all this fine snow if you have it where you live.
p.s. I like the quote on your sidebar, the third one down about moments. :) I love quotes. :D
