Jan. 19, 2009 - My poor, sad ankle...

Hello to all!

Well, it's been quite a while since I've written an actual entry. It's just been kinda busy with all of the wonderful and fun comments and PMs that I have been getting lately. That's about all that I have time for in the day. ;-) And I am sure this'll probably be short, since I still am not sure of what to blog about.

But let's see...right now I am on the computer when I would normally be at another figure skating lesson. But tonight, I while I was there (For only about ten minutes or so) I tried to do a jump that I have been working on, and I landed wrong on my ankle, and twisted it. So now I am at home, on the computer with an icepack. =) Fun, huh?   I've wondered if maybe I should stop lessons because of my weak ankle, but never truly wanted to. I guess I'm one of those people who wait for something bad to happen before actually realizing what they should have realized before. I'm not too proud of that fact!
~My goodness, this thing is cold!!!~

Gracious, that really is all I can think to say. I have no interesting topics to blog about, so I guess this'll have to be it for now. At least I wrote, right?

Always in Him,
Dallas

Aww, I'm sorry! Sounds painful. I hope it heals quickly and as painlessly as possible. Praying for you!

But, hey. At least you got a little extra computer time, right? At a high cost, yes, but extra time just the same. (I know, I know. Not helping.)
Love you!

Your Romans 1:12 friend,
Kris

Jan. 28, 2009 - Howdy Again!

Hello Rebekah!!!!!

My sister and I were looking at your pictures of the guinea pigs, and she wants Talitha to know that she already loves them.(yours, I mean. she of course already loves her own!) You know what this means? ....Now our guinea pigs need to have a play date!!! ;-) They are all girls, so there won't be any baby guinea pigs after the play date though...;-( *wink* How do you think we could get down to you guys? I don't know that the guinea pigs would enjoy an air plane...
Just kidding. They ARE very cute, thanks for the pictures!

I'm so sorry that I haven't emailed you back. I know my mom emailed you, so you understand, but I still feel bad. You have no idea how much I want to write you back! But for some reason, my mom likes to take our computer privledges away if Raechel and I don't get along swimingly. It's her favorite thing take away from us because then there's no one tying up the lines!!! ha-ha
But anyway, so we have the computer back now, and I'll try to as soon as possible.

All my love and prayers,

Your Friend In Christ,
Dallas

PS,
Raechel wants you and your sister to know that she put up a picture of one of her piggies, Maizy, on her blog and if you want to go see it, you can. ;-) (she's a little obsessed if you can't figure that out...;-) I love my sister!)

Hi Dallas,
Thank you so much for your comment on the guinea-pigs. I'm glad that you and Raechel like them. Alright then, I'll post Ruthie and Hope to you in a parcel and you can open up the parcel and let them play with your's and then you can send them all to me and I can play with them all! I do think posting would work, atleast then they might not feel so bad on the plane ride! Sorry to hear that your's are all girls! :-)
Oh, no. Don't feel bad about not e-mailing. I really do understand completely. We get our computer time taken away from us sometimes too! :-) So, there is no need to feel bad about it! I'll be patiently awaiting your e-mail. :-) :-) :-)

Love, Your sister in Christ,
Rebekah

Hi!
You have a really neat blog! I read in one of your earlier posts that you taught a Bible study using "Before you meet Prince Charming" . . .I love that book! I co-teach a Bright Lights group for girls (using the material written by Sarah Mally.)
May I add you to my friends' list?
