I fully intend on keeping those friends on my list who have corresponded with me regularly now or in the past, so don't worry. My main thing is weaning those who really don't have a mutual interest in my blog from the friends list so I can concentrate the time I do have on those who care. I guess I feel funny taking anyone off my list because it shows up on their friend list then...KWIM?
Anyway, to answer Letitia's questions, I am fine. We're mostly moved in. I just need to hang up pictures and find places for my Willow Tree figurines and other decoratives. I also need to clean out my desk, but I'm feeling pretty moved in and even organized.
I'm feeling pretty good overall. I overdid it today by doing too much work, I think. I cleaned a lot for the base, and then came home and did the same. By suppertime I had a definite waddle - my back and groin were letting me know I'd done too much. By the time I got the girls into bed I came out and crashed on the couch. I know I was asleep before them! I woke up after 20 minutes and they were still awake!
May I suggest using Blog Rolling? www.blogrolling.com I had to do the same thing to my friends list and I found blog rolling, you are able to add 'friends' that you frequent or that frequent your blog to it, without having the friends list that goes on for half a page.
Which saves you time, and helps keep things neat. Then your not hurting anyone's feelings on your friend list if you have a no beside their name, you can still go into your control panel and have all your friends listed there for you to access instead of on your blog...
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a three year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
