I had changed it and then accidentally erased the first two questions while trying to change the coloring of the words. I guess when I replaced the beginning, I forgot to change my answer! It is fixed now. Yes, I still homeschool and the answer isn't the same as yours!
Carol
I enjoyed reading your answers (0: I hope you are feeling well and the baby and you are healthy and happy. How is your new place ? Feeling settled ??? I am glad you are in the place before babe is born and you can nest now (0; God Bless.
In Him,
Carol, I also thought that PE book through Sl was useless. I brought it out this summer to look through and put it back on the shelf......guess I should sell it!
Thanks for the comment. Things are either super busy or not at all around here so I don't always get to the blog like I want.
I have heard of YWAM, sounds like a great ministry. We are with Pioneers and are working closely with SIL missionaries who are in the last few years of translating the Bible in the dialect of quechua we are working in. We hope to use the translation after we learn to speak the langugage well for teaching.
How fun that you are having your first boy! We don't know if we are having a boy or girl...this will be a surprise this time! :) You mentioned going to a midwife, will you have a homebirth? We are having a home birth this time. Can't wait!
I also put you on my friends list. I actually meant to have my web address say "Ad-Lib" and it used my user name instead. But that may be better since it will find the other missionary Moms out there. :) I am always trying to connect with other Missionary Homeschooling Moms especially since there are none here where we live. I have to find my moral support and encouragement in the area of homeschooling as a missionary mom from other places. Some of my family homeschool too so it's a lot of emailing and blog reading and chatting in forums in my "down time". :) Glad to find you!
see you around. Libby
Hi, Carol! Congrats on your first boy!! We had midwives with all four of our dc, but one was a transport to hospital b/c he became breech. He was still born ******lly, quite by accident, though! No complications and we were able to go home the same day. I liked my midwives so much, and would not exchange my birth experiences for any other story because of them.
Good answers on the Meme. Not that there are any wrong answers, LOL.
Interesting thought, though. One reason there are probably not more free instructions and resources for lapbooking is so that money can be made through the information. Not that I'm against that at all. But it would be one reason why it's now available.
You asked if I got go to NM with Hubby...It's a Hubs/Dads only trip. The families got to go to NM together last year...before the traditional chile men trip. No, that is special time reserved for these old friends and accountability partners. And I encourage it. They have been friends for a long time, but most of us are at different churches, now. This is one special way to stay connected.
We also take other camping trips with most of these families every couple of years.
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (10, 9 and 4) and a toddler son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
