Bible Study/ Devotions ~ I didn't do so well. I want to make this a priority above computer time this week. I want to journal in my prayer journal, and spend more time at Jesus' feet before I ever turn on the computer!
"Must Do"~ Last week's I “Must”s
Start thinking about weekly menu for next week - so I can be ready ahead of time! I did this a little.
Go over things I still need to order for school and make the order! Done. Made the order Sunday!
Go to the urologist and go over my test results from a few weeks ago. I have surgery scheduled for October 1, but I am having second thoughts. I think I may back out of it.
Take Josiah to his 9 month well child check. Done. He is doing well. Still 90% for weight, and over the chart for height!
Start doing scrunches and back exercises to tone this tummy and improve my posture. I also need to get back to doing kegels (ah man!) Didn't get this one done! Bad Carol!
This week's I "must":
Finish sewing on buttons and doing some sewing that I've put off far too long!
Write up a schedule and stick to it for housework and chores.
Prioritize family over computer. I'm much happier when I keep up with the household chores and take care of the girls, than when I let myself get carried away with computer time and let those things go.
3. Train Them Up~ Working on schedules for both the girls and for myself. I need to be a better example of what I do with my time when the girls are around. I also need to be a better example of wife and mother by keeping the house cleaner and more organized.
4. Menu Planning~
Monday: Rainbow trout (again because dh will be fishing all day with a friend).
Tuesday: Cheddar and cauliflower soup
Wednesday: Stirfry
Thursday: I'll be working in town. Dh will be in charge of this meal
Friday: Pizza or Spaghetti night.
Saturday: Leftovers or dh will make, as I will be working all day.
Sunday: As usual this is family night and we will have popcorn, cheese and apple slices as we do a family activity together. Last night we watched some old Little House on the Prairie shows.
Dessert: Kiefer smoothies, and probably make something out of the peaches I froze this past week.

I have a ton of sewing to catch up on too! And I'm there with you on the computer thing...it can be so addictive and we have to be so careful. I've tried the timer thing but you know what...the timer can be started over! lol!!
Oh, your menu looks YUMMY. [0= Good job on you to get done list. I always tend to have more on the list than what I can get done. /0= Thank you for the birthday wishes. I will for sure let him hear your comment. I wish my hubby would take the kids fishing. I need to encourage him more in this area.
God Bless you in your plans ((hugs))
In Him<><

I am glad it is working so well for you.
I am praying for you and your surgery, It is easy to start to second guess your decision when they give you so much time to wait for it. You have prayed and you do need it. I think about Especially Heather and how hard it was for her Knowing how hard chemo is to decide this was God's will for her. I am praying the Lord Strengthens and directs you. Your children need a heathly mom.
We went fishing Sunday with DH. We had so much fun, the kids and I too. Looks like you got a great menu ahead of you this week. Sometimes I catch myself on the computer a little more then what I need too. Told the girls to look at me, then say Mom. Did your time run out. lol You gotta love them no matter what.
Great menu and wonderful plans for the week! I see your making some good progress too! :-)
My favorite was
"Prioritize family over computer. I'm much happier when I keep up with the household chores and take care of the girls, than when I let myself get carried away with computer time and let those things go."
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a three year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
