A. I've been blogging for about 3 years now. I do it because I love to write and journal, and I've met a lot of new friends through this venue. I was taking an online class of creative writing and somehow learned through that about blogging. Once I started I got hooked!
B. My dream place to blog is in a quiet living room, with the children all asleep or out with their daddy having some daddy time, snuggled on the couch with a warm, fuzzy blanket and a nice spot of tea (decaf Earl Grey with honey and milk).
C. 1. I usually blog early in the morning (between 6:30 and 8:30) or in the evening after the kids are in bed (after 8).
2. My favorite drink is the tea I mentioned above, or if I want something cold, a mocha cooler (decaf).
3. I don't know if I have a favorite book (other than the Bible). I love historical fiction, stuff by L.M. Montgomery, missionary biographies, and kids books.
4. My favorite dessert? Hmm...I'd have to say ice cream, preferably homemade.
5. A scripture that has been inspirational in my growth in Christ would have to be Philippians 2:13 "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." I love that God is working where I fall short, and He helps me to do those things that please Him. The whole book of Philippians is pretty powerful.
I love L.M. Montgomery too. :) I have the set of the "Anne of Green Gables" books and the movies. Have you ever seen "Road to Avonlea"? It's pretty good too.
Hi Carol! I'm visiting "classmates" with the Blogger Friend School. I like your dream place to blog, very comforting picture. We have been wanting to do a nature study for our schooling here as well, what a find with those daisies! Your girls just looked precious there among them. Nice meeting you. Julie.
Good morning Carol :) I love the scripture that you quoted. It seems that most of us tend to blog while the children are sleeping. Could it be that we enjoy typing with two hands?! LOL. Have a blessed day my friend.

Thanks for giving us a great blog to read! I agree with you in loving that God fills in the gaps where we fall short...which when I think about is everywhere! Lori G
Hi there Carol, thank you for stopping by...I looked at all of my settings, I am not sure why it would not let you register to comment...I know it won't allow anonymous comments....but the sidebar worked great as well, I just got that installed today!
I enjoyed reading a snippet of your life.
May you have a blessed year home schooling.

Hey, Carol! Though I didn't participate in this "friend school", I'm visiting tonight and noticing that a number of my blogging friends are. It's been very interesting to see how each of you began blogging, and what you consider as ideal spaces/ environments/ times to blog. Good stuff.
I hope your vacation went well, and God's continued favor be upon you as you begin this year.
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a three year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
