Bible Study/ Devotions ~ Continue to journal my prayers and read from the One Year Bible daily.
"Must Do"~ Sew on buttons on the girls' clothes that are missing buttons.
Home Blessing~ I need to clean out the mudroom and the coat closet, getting rid of stuff we don't use and getting ready for the snow that will probably start to fall in the next few weeks.
Train Them Up~ Continue to work on first time obedience. Start an education program with 3dd3. Start Sonlight language arts with the older two girls.
Menu Planning~ Work on finding recipes that are vegetarian and gluten free for a student in our discipleship program who is having a hard time eating here. Bless her with a meal or two throughout the week.

I'm sorry to hear about your friends daughter, how very kind of you to try and help out by making a few meals! I am adding a couple links to some fabulous sites for Vegetarian and gluten free recipes! :-)
I laughed when I saw the 'must do' buttons...last week I was sewing pointe shoe ribbons and sewing holes in shorts...I am glad that was last week, its my least favorite 'must do!':)
have a wonderful week, good luck with the recipes, have you checked allrecipes.com..I think there is a vegetarian section...blessings, lori
I'm sorry...I couldn't get past your snow comment. Sigh....that sounds just so, so nice. We've cooled down into the 80s, which is a start, but I hate to sweat period.....but I really hate to sweat when it's supposed to be autumn, or very near it.
Sure wish I'd had this kind of accountability in the old days. I love your "first time obedience" and I think that's the most important goal you listed for this week--and every week. Take it from me--it really does work if you can keep focused and follow through. And it is such a blessing, this first-time obedience!
In answer to your question on when I wrote that book, I think I was between 12-14. I wrote it in a spiral notebook. I was 16 when I copied it into the hardback book. I had dozens of stories that I threw away when I entered high school, thinking that writing stories was for children. Bad mistake. Wish I had them all back now to keep for my own children and grandchildren!
Wow snow already!? The weather has cooled down here a bit but we won't be cool enough for snow for months yet. I hope you accomplish all your goals and have a productive week.
Blessings,
Meg

Great week of planning. Here's a blog that has some awesome recipes (http://glutenfreegoddess.blogspot.com/) & (http://www.vitalita.com/cookbooks.html). Hope this helps you & your daughter's friend out some.
Oh, my. I can't even imagine that you're looking at snow in the next few weeks! We're enjoying some beautiful fall weather here, but I know it will pass too quickly. Marissa and I just got back from our getaway, and it was gorgeous.

One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a two year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
