We got a ton of snow last week. I've been meaning to take pics. These were taken when it was getting dark and a few days after we got about 4-5 feet, so it is really hard to appreciate how much snow is out there. The first one is our house and the second one is a storage building and the freezer room (remember my bear story last summer?)
Next we have the girls reading during school time. I had to capture SnowCrystal (8) reading upside down!
Finally, I have some shots of Baby J in his nighties. My sister sent me a huge box of clothes this week! As the bedrooms are cold, I think this will keep him warm, what do you think?! He is walking now, by the way!
Spiritually, I am doing fine. I have some good reads on loan from Katia that I am working through. I am getting a bit confused again - but I believe it will get better when I can get some more uninterrupted time with the Lord.
Hi Carol. Thanks for stopping by. I've been so hit and miss with my blogging since Christmas.
Oh, how I wish we could just get a fraction of that snow! Right now it's snowing 30 min. from our house, but there's a big drop in elevation between here and there, so we won't get it! Arg! : )
Love all the snuggly jammy and reading photos. And, by the way, I love you hair long and wavy like it is now~so pretty.
My husband and I are on a new journey with God right now, too, so I can kind of relate to where you are. He's been speaking a lot. Then, He's also been drawing me to certain scriptures, which are very clear in their meaning, except for what they mean for us! Make sense? We know what the verse says, we know what it means, we just don't know how He wants us to use it. And, most anything He would want us to do with it would require a mighty movement from Him, because it's definitely not something we could ever do on our own. Exciting and scray. And lots of patience as we wait on Him to reveal what He's going to do!
Prayers for you,
Letitia
What fun pictures! Children are so full of joy and innocence. This is how the Lord wants us isn't it.

Ahh...I'm so jealous of your snow. We have been missed by every single storm this year and are getting a bit worried since we are on a well. We really need some good rain but prefer snow since it seeps into the ground much better for our well.
I LOVE the pictures of all of your snow! We live in Georgia and, of course, never get nearly that much. We did get a couple of inches yesterday and it was sooo much fun to play in. It's gone now and we can't wait for more!
Carol, how fast your son has grown! Wow, walking already?!? I just stopped by to check on you and to be sure that all was well, or at least somewhat normal (in our home, I sometimes settle for the latter when chaos prevents the former, you know?). God bless you and your family.
Hello, it seems that the Lord has blessed us with almost the same family make up. I have 8yodd, 6yodd, 5yodd, and 2yods. I love the pics of your daughters reading. And will enjoy reading more of your blog. What a beautiful home you have.
Love the pictures - better you than me on the snow, we just are colder than cold, but hey, it's above 0 now - a real heat wave. Fun kiddo pictures too - ahhh yes, I remember the days of letting the girls ride on my back - can't do that anymore. Praying that the Lord gives you & your dh discernment and direction. Blessings My Friend!
Oh , thanks for the pic updates !!! Wow you do have a lot of snow ! It is snowing up a storm this week end. I pray the roads will be clear for tomorrow. It is curling day...time to drive to town.
Sending Blessings and ((hugs)) my SSiC

I was reading you blog from a link on the Estes family blog. I just wanted to give you a recommendation for a great book. It is Believing God by Beth Moore. I have really been on a wonderful walk with the Lord this last year and this book changed so much for me.
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a three year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
