I just found out about a medical ministry that I may be able to be a part of. It is actually based in the small city that is closest to where we live! Hopefully I will be able to fly with them to Mexico to do medical work in Baja soon!
Now I have a reason to get more serious about learning Spanish!
Feeding on His faithfulness,
Carol
PS For those of you who have been praying for us and our situation here, know that God is working things out so nicely, and things are going well! Thanks for your prayers!
One of the reasons it is so crazy around here is we have just moved to Alaska. My husband was in the Air Force and we left Colorado Springs in December. We were in a hotel on Christmas.
What a great opportunity. James and Ashley plan to go back to Guatemala again this summer.
The lapbook turned out so cute. We started our American Revolution study by the same people (had to take a week's break for our Nashville trip and recooperating!), and Marissa is enjoying it. I pretty much paraphrase the stories as I go so they are understandable to her. She's enjoying the activities.
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (11, 9 and 4) and a two year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
