Sometimes I just look back and feel like I've been through a whirlwind week and I don't even know where to start. Nowadays I'm finding that every week is like that, so I might as well call it normal!
I had to lead our weekly staff meeting devotion this week on Monday morning. I talked about the fire of the Lord. I felt it went well. Then I spent the entire afternoon trying to get my liability insurance application worked out. I had to take my kids with me 1.25 hours to my work place to work on it. It took a long time, so afterward I took the kids to McDonald's Playplace for an early supper and playtime. They did really well. While I was at my workplace, my office manager handed me a W-2 that had not been given to me yet. I had already sent in my taxes, so it took the next two days to figure out what I had to do to fix the problem. Ugh. I will get more money back though!
Thursday morning I led intercession for our YWAM Prayer Day. I cried a lot and ruined two sets of contacts! Thursday and Saturday (today) I worked at the clinics. Everything went well.
Thursday my dh went to our mission board meeting and shared with them about my desire to do work with Samaritan Aviation Fellowship (I shared about this last month). They voted to cover my entire trip in May financially. That is really exciting. We will be going to Baja and working at an orphanage removing skin lesions (moles and warts and things).
Things are looking good for getting a new vehicle. We got our money back from the insurance, and hopefully will get our income tax return soon. There is a Chevy dealer in town who seems willing to help us find a really good deal (he has gotten a few vehicles for the base too).
It sounds like the leaders are going to offer our family the biggest house on the base soon. It will be such a blessing!
That is sooooooooo exciting !!! Wow , God is working in your life sweetie. [0= I am soooo happy for you. You will have to take lots of pics when that happens. I pray that the Lord keeps blessings you over and over again.
Blessings and ((hugs)) my very SSiC
In Him<><

I have been having many a week like this!!
Looks like a lot has been happening in your neck of the woods. Hope you guys find a great deal on a van, I know how hard it is going with out a vehicle.
Your comments on the "hair cutting" - we haven't cut our dd hair at all. It is the length it is from birth, she was born with very little hair but not completely bald. I have trimmed the bangs some. My husband has actually cut my hair a couple times - he is an exceptionally good hair cutter.
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (10, 8 and 3) and a toddler son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
