Update: Based on comments I've had from this post, I want to clarify something. I am not in the depths of depression or any point of despair. My point was that I've been dealing with a lot of ups and downs in emotions. I am fine. This is not so unusual for me except that I usually don't have so many lows at one time. I come back to a normal level each time, and I'm doing fine now. Don't worry! Thanks for your prayers.
I haven't been blogging much cuz I don't have much to say. I've been spending a lot of time pouring over our new Sonlight Curriculum catalogue. I have a wish list of about 28 items to cover next year in everything except 1dd10's language arts and reading. I would like to make that more CMish if I can do it... Anyway, the total is almost $2000! Ugh! And that is with a discount! Boy would it be nice though!
I haven't posted many pics lately. Not much around here to take pics of. The snow is in various degrees of melting and gaining new snow on any given day. There's mud and snow everywhere.
Emotionally I have been on a roller coaster as usual. Between the accident and losing our van, possibly getting a bigger house but still not knowing yet, dealing with comments from people that cut deep, leading intercession last week, and so forth, I feel like I am constantly trying to catch my emotional balance! I used to deal with depression when I was a teenager, but I was healed of that. Since my healing, I haven't felt such a roller coaster of emotions for 20 years! Pray that I would find God's peace in all of this.
Here are a couple of pics. The first one is of 4ds16months enjoying a roll in the bean bag chairs. The second is of 3dd3 posing for her big sis to take a picture. I'll try to think of some nice things to photograph soon.
Yesterday I had to take 2dd8 to the dentist to have another filling replaced that fell out (second one in the last month). While we were in town we enjoyed some time at the park. Baby J loved the equipment and went up the stairs or rock wall and down the slides over and over. I wish I had had my camera for that! The sun was shining and the ground dry. DD8, dd3 and ds and myself really enjoyed ourselves. DD10 stayed at home.
Hi Carol :) I'm glad you enjoyed visiting my nature blog :) sometimes I put it on just so that we can listen to the birds and bees background sounds as we do school *grin* I just got my Sonlight cataloge today and I can't wait to go through it! I'm sure I'll have some huge list by the time I'm done browsing that I'll have to whittle down to a more manageable monetary amount to :) Have a wonderful evening,

I am sorry to hear you've been on a roller coaster of emotions. I was once healed of depression, but I think I still lean that way if I am not on my guard, in the word and praying. Hang in there. (((hugs)))

Hi there. I wanted to pop in and say Hi and (((HUGS))). I am trying to get the house clean. But had to come say grettings . I will lift you up in prayer. Things will fall into place my VERY SSiC.
Sometimes life does come at us in such a whirlwind. I can relate to your comment that maybe now this is "normal". I used to wait and wait and wait for things to slow down. I'd say, "After this, things will slow down." It took a few years, but with the choices we're making now (for me not to be as involved in as many outside activities, including running children to them) life really has slowed down most of the time~spring being the exception. I pray for you during this hectic time. As you know, cling to the Lord, and He will be your emotional strength.
So glad to hear your trip is covered, the van will soon be replaced, and you might be moving into a bigger home! Lots of exciting hectic things!
