This was a wonderfully full week, beginning with a visit from my sister and her family. You can read about it on my previous entry. I really enjoyed having them here.
On Wednesday I took my Mountain Princess to physical therapy, which went well. We also visited the library and did a little running around town while there. On Thursday we had the day off at home, and on Friday we watched the Winter DTS graduate. I'll write more about that on my "from the Mission Field" section below.
On the Homefront:
Nothing new here this week except entertaining family and the usual weekly housekeeping duties.
In the School Room:
Just prereading some of my kids' books. I also previewed a nature study blog that gives lots of good ideas for stories and nature walks that I hope to do in the future: http://www.handbookofnaturestudy.blogspot.com
On the Mission Field:
Our winter DTS returned from Pakistan, Mongolia and China. They had great adventures to share, and most of them plan on returning to the mission field in the future. Here are some pics from graduation:
In the Literary Scene:
I finished prereading Moccasin Trail (great book). I read some more from Torah Club 4.
Feeding on His Faithfulness,

If you would like to join me in this theme, just write up your own weekly summary, using mine or your own categories. Then leave me a comment with your name and the link to your summary. I'd love to read your weekly summaries too! I hope to post mine on each Friday or Saturday. At the latest it will be on Sunday. If you get yours done before I do, just leave your link in my cbox.
I hope you don't mind that I'm joining your weekly wrap up this week. It's such a neat idea, and after reading some other wrap-ups over the last couple of weeks I thought I'd join in. Hope that's okay.
Betty
Hello and Lord bless you. Sounds like you had a fun visit with your sister. Here is my weekly update: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/ams/703449/
Lord bless you!
Hey, I just wanted to share my link for my weekly wrap-up. I need to go back and read about your sister's visit. The pics of the graduation look great--your pumpkins are too precious.
Hi. My friend Cerese posted her weekly wrapup and once again I see she didn't put it here so I am posting it here. She definately needs encouragement from any high school homeschoolers out there!

One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a three year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
