Five years ago on July 7, 2004, my little Bubbies came into the world at a whopping 12 lbs, 3 oz. She has been a delight in my life ever since. Here is a pic of her at 1 year old:
Now she is 5. I can hardly believe she's ready for Kindergarten already! Here is pics of her 5th birthday party.
Happy B-lated birthday to your dd ! It looks like she had a blast of a party !! I LOVE love love the pinata.
I have to say you beat me in the biggest baby. Both Noah and Nicolas were 10 and 1/2 lbs. I just can't imagine you carring a big baby. You did a great job.
Sending you blessings and ((HUGS)) my SSiC

Oh How Cute!!! Wow, 12 lbs, 3 oz., that is more than 2 of my babies combined (they were 6 lbs. even each) - that must have been uncomfortable. :) And now she is such a petite little princess - what a cutie. It looks like a fun party and that was nice of her sister to make such a fun pinata.
What a fun birthday party. Did you have a couple of other friends over?
My Rachey turns six in August. I'm kind of unsure how to do school with her for 1st grade as she's barely reading and her writing is still caps and slow. I guess that's the advantage of homeschooling - I can just work more where she is at.
Carol, what a wonderful time of sharing. I might have missed it: what is DTS?
Man, were you busy! I thought I was busy, but I bow to the chief! (LOL) The camping trip looks like fun. I imagine that one day I will be a great camper, but I hide myself behind the excuse that the kids are afraid of bugs. That's not a lie, but truth be told, I've never dragged them out to a campsite, either. I do want to participate in the Great Campout that occurs here each fall. They actually take parents who've never camped before and help them with basics. Something like this would be right up our family's alley.
Thanks for sharing, and for coordinating this effort! Here's my link:
One thing have I desired of the Lord that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. To behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord. To inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord.
This is my everyday thoughts about being a mother to three little ladies (12, 10 and 5) and a three year old son. We serve God full-time, and I am a physician assistant. I have the most awesome husband in the world. I am trying to seek and serve God with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength.
