Monday Meanderings

UPDATE!!!!
When I started MM I wanted to have a section for Prayer Requests, I never did get around to adding it in. I have seen that a few of you are doing this and I love it! There is nothing better then being able to prayer for one another as we go through our week!

If you happen to have a prayer request please tack that on to the end of your post so that we can pray for you!!

1.     Bible Study/ Devotions ~ Christ in Christmas A Family Advent Celebration, I really need to get back into the routine of reading my Bible again daily too.

2. "Must Do"~ (Not the “To Do” list but the “Must Do” list!)

This week I Must Do…

  • Home Blessing (You can view my HB on the left sidebar)
  • Decorate the House for Christmas
  • Emails~ I think I am all caught up but if I have missed your email please forgive me and email me at tiany@cox.net (My email has been a cluttered mess!)
  • Go to Post Office
  • Continue making preparations for Homeschool Christmas party
  • Find a family to adopt for Christmas

1.     Zone ~ I will be preparing for next weeks Party all week long so I am going to do the following…

·        Outdoors~ clean patio furniture

·        Go through boy’s toys and give lots of them away!

·        Reorganize and clean Play room

2.     Train Them Up~ For the month of December we will be focusing on a Christmas unit study with Twenty complete lessons (4 weeks on a 5-day school week schedule) on Christmas Symbols. I will not teach it word for word, I will be omitting those things I personally do not find Biblically sound. J I am combining these two studies I found http://www.easyfunschool.com/Blessed.pdf and http://www.athomeschool.com/unitstudy/christmas_symbols_index.html

Having an iternary for the coming week, has motivated me to get more organized in my cleaning. Since I joined last week, I have recruited my children to clean windows, linen closets, etc.

Have a good week,

It looks like you had a great Thanksgiving, I'm so glad. Your week looks nice and busy, I hope you achieve it all. I'm excited about decorating too but I'm going to hold off a week because of my sons upcoming birthday party. Have a great week!

I love the Olive Garden! Yummy!

We are, of course, working on our decorating as well. I am taking my time with it this year instead of doing a marathon and trying to do everything in one day. When I do that I don't enjoy it. The decorating seems rather like a chore so I am going to slow down and have fun this year.

Sounds like a great week! We are still working on leftovers, but I plan to do one meal with them and freeze the rest (mainly the dressing).
