Homeschool Christmas Party!!!

Posted in Holidays

Today we had our KKlub / 1st graders Christmas party and it was a big hit! We all had such fun and the children were busy with games, crafts and lots of sweets!

Here are just some of the highlights...

The food!
We had waaay too much food, everyone was so kind to bring a yummy treat to share...

Check out this amazing cake my friend Melissa made!! Its a topsy Turfy cake! White cake with raspberry and chocolate with caramel fillings! Yummmy!

Playing hot Potato but with a "Hot" Christmas gift , they played this game to Christmas music.

We had 3 craft stations, ornament station, card station and cookie, cupcake decorating!!!!

Waiting patiently for presents while listening to the Christmas story! This was my living room!

It was a beautiful day for outside play too!!!

Have a blessed weekend!

That looked like a lot of fun! You inspired me for next year. Just one problem...we won't be so luck to be able to run around with no jackets on..I live in Massachusetts and it is freezing! I am so jealous!

If I may ask.... in the picture where the kids are making snowmen (above the 'waiting' one) there are signs with inscriptions on the walls.... all in different colours..

What kind of text is on them? Are those bible verses or something else? I really like the look of those.. (I hope you know what I mean.. as you can see english in not my mother tongue.. *lol*)

greetings from the netherlands!

I am thinking your livingroom picture is the start of a riddle... How many unsocialized homeschoolers can you fit in a lvingroom without crying?

All of them!

What a wonderful day you had!

Looks like so much fun!! :) What a cute cake. I've never seen one like that before. We had a Christmas party today too. It was great fun. Little One ate a lot of goodies. When we came home we played in our yard too, but ours was covered with snow. It was a perfect snow for a snowball fight (packed REAL well!) so that is what we did! LO and I were throwing them at each other and very soon, neighbor kids were joining in. :)

What an absolutely gorgeous cake! Your friend is one talented lady - I've never seen a cake like that!

Your party looked like so much fun! You put everything together so beautifully and it just shows how talented you are and how loving to put something so wonderful together like this! I couldn't believe how lovely it was outside there! It's been raining like crazy today - gray and gloomy. I'm so glad you had good weather for your little ones!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

God bless you ~ Julie

Hi Miss Tiany,
The cake that your friend made is amazing! Topsy-Turvy cakes take an incredible amount of skill to create. She is gifted. Your S&T was so fun to read.
